so could the New York Knicks be trading away McCale Bridges to the Detroit Pistons this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeaway world.net The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the New York Knicks receiving Ron Holland a 2026 first round pick a 2028 first round pick and a 2029 second round pick and the Detroit Pistons receiving male Bridges So in a vacuum this is a pretty awesome trade uh for the Pistons to make because just one year ago uh Michael Bridges was traded for five first round draft picks and only one year later the Knicks are reportedly shopping him um after their fall apart in the Eastern Conference Finals So I definitely do agree that if Male Bridges was available the Pistons would have a ton of interest in him Uh the Pistons took gigantic steps forward last season and if they’re able to acquire Male Bridges for a few first round draft picks Ron Holland in a second for a team which by the way could be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference next year and for the foreseeable future This is awesome value in my personal opinion Now if I’m the if I’m the New York Knicks I’m probably not trading Male Bridges for this package Um I would want to get back some sort of basketball return um for him uh Bridg’s name was tossed out there in the Kevin Durant sweep stakes Uh perhaps if a player like Jiren Jackson Jr.’s made available maybe a Mikuel Bridges trade to Memphis makes a little bit more sense there But just in my opinion this is not a great use of assets if you ask me Flipping Muel Bridges later for two first round draft picks which will likely be outside of the lottery plus Ron Holland in a second So I think for those reasons alone I think Muel Bridges who’s a good 3 and D option by the way like a tremendous perimeter defender um adds some good length could be a nice number two player behind Cade behind Kate Cunningham This could be an amazing move for the Pistons to make So I think without a doubt the winner of this deal is the male br is male Bridges going to the Detroit Pistons But as always leave your thoughts
