three straight hits for the Braves make it four and make it four runs grand slam [Applause] [Music] well every game I’m looking for a player who’s had a big impact and tonight’s player is Shawn Murphy sean I think you have caught a lot of great pitchers and a lot of great games but uh talk to me about the rhythm and the nastiness of your pitcher tonight
that was one of one of Spencer’s better days um he was doing everything he wanted with the baseball today he was in out up down i felt like all his pitches were working so uh we just had every option at our you know disposal today and he used them
you guys were one of seven teams that hadn’t hit a grand slam with all the power on your club you took care of that one swing tell me how sweet that felt for your team and a much needed win
yeah I mean you know getting there late innings any any insurance is good so uh getting four in one swing that was uh that takes a lot of pressure off me and the pitchers you know you’ve been a stable behind the plate you’ve got a youngster also that you split time with um you take a lot of pride in your defense as well as your offense what is the biggest thing as the season unfolds that you’re most proud of when you get to the end of the year you know I look at the starting staff and and the numbers they put up and um you know last year we threw a bunch of shutouts and Travis and I took a lot of pride in that and so you know we looked to those numbers and uh that’s how we know if we did our job
well this is a team that still has a lot of potential and maybe a game like tonight gets you going best of luck the rest of the way thank you
