– Trade Quentin Grimes who balled out with the 76ers for a broken down injured Caleb Martin
– tell everyone his plan is go “All in” to “win now” in a 3-4 year window
– tell the fans “I had no idea how much Luka meant to the city”
– kick fans out of games who voiced their displeasure and chanted “Fire Nico”
– make a playoff push, and purposely do NOT tank for Flagg
– luck into a 1.8% lottery gift from God/Adam
– walk around gaslighting the fanbase and media that this was all part of the “plan”

If this is the case, the league is fucked. The next CBA better include provisions for exorcists and Van Helsing type of demon hunters tho. You gotta maintain an even playing field.

Again… trading Luka wasn’t the issue even though that was incredibly stupid. The issue wasn’t you didn’t shop him and get a haul that would set up the team for the next 5-10 years.
Sometimes I like to think NBA’s plan is to move Doncic to LA Lakers (Big market). Highly likely Luka will be the new face of the league after Lebron’s retirement. In exchange Dallas will get the #1 pick. It hits different when your potential new face of the league is in a big market team. It is just too good to be true to get that lucky 1.8% IMO.

It’s still crazy to me after hearing some about some dude dude who blew the Steph Curry pitch at Nike the way it was rumoured to have happened. Then that guy turns out to be Nico Harrison whom I’d never heard of before the Luka trade and that guy still has a job in the NBA.

The simple answer is he did plan it because he knew he would “win” a high draft pick should they be in the draft.
I don’t usually jump onto conspiracy theories but when the man is taking credit for the 1st pick, it’s hard to argue against him knowing beforehand about a failsafe.
This feels like he’s smugly trolling the fans since he knows they’ve all come crawling back. Season tickets are selling like hotcakes. There are already videos of Mavs fans lining up around the block to get their hands on a Flagg jersey. Mavs will probably have some of the most expensive tickets in the NBA next season and the AAC will still be sold out every single night. There are probably still some Luka loyalists but those people are a finge minority by now. Heck, the Mavs sub is already one big pro-Nico/Flagg circlejerk from what I’ve seen, which is hilarious. Nico is one lucky mf.
I know that this is unhinged, i’m not proud of it so take this as a admission of a corrupt and guilty conscience but a part of me want ad and kyrie to stay hurt while flagg busts. Rewarded incompetence is something that make me see red, can’t help it.
