what’s going on everyone Chris from pickdogs.com here with the free pick in the Arizona Diamondbacks versus Miami Marlins Major League Baseball matchup going down Sunday June 29th 2025 Just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you subscribe to our channel and smash that thumbs up And if you’re looking for my best bets the games that I love ahead of pickdogs.com click the experts tab at the top of the page It’s a great time to do so because we have a lot of action lined up for the week ahead We’ve got WNBA and Major League Baseball action And even though we are in the dog days of summer the MLB and WNBA take center stage you know there’s still uh plenty of money to be made with those two sports Lots of action still as well So make sure that you jump on board Remember to use the promo code pick at checkout and get 15% off your purchase And we also hit our goal of 250,000 subscribers here on our YouTube channel I appreciate each and every one of you that’s helped us get to where we are today But if you haven’t already hit that subscribe button by now Please do so It’ll uh it’ll help us reach another milestone And if you are new to our channel welcome I can assure you we are going to be making you some money handover fist And it’s going to start here uh with this matchup between the Miami Marlins and the Arizona Diamondbacks A thriller on Saturday Will it keep going on Sunday We’ll have to see We got Eduardo Rodriguez and Calantrol listed as the starters for the Diamondbacks and Marlins respectively And you know Calantrol had his ups and downs this season for sure but he’s been more of a five in guy as of late usually two to three earned runs given up in a start and he’s been pitching okay I mean he hasn’t been you know terrible but he has struggled in the past against the Arizona Diamondbacks including two starts last year against Arizona where he gave up eight runs 17 hits combined four home runs combined over those 11 innings of work that he that he faced him And I just I don’t know the the you know the um the Diamondbacks are still one of the better teams in baseball against right-handed pitching this season Even though they’ve been banged up with Corbin Carroll dealing with I think I think it’s a wrist fracture that he’s dealing with You’ve had a Suarez you know banged up and in and out of the lineup This is still a Diamondbacks team that just continues to to sort of prod along and get and you know get the job done But the thing is is that you know I I just don’t know how much I love Calantrol in this matchup The thing about Quantrol though he’s got an offense right now that’s hot and backing him up that’s now 5-0 on this road trip You know they they’ve scored eight plus runs in four straight games Can they do that against Eduardo Rodriguez It’s to be seen But contrary to my beliefs about the Marlins in the past that they may not be able to hit left-handed pitching all that well they’ve been kind of dispelling those notions in in recent games I mean you know over the last couple years this was a Marlins team can hit their way out of a wet paper bag against left-handed pitching And in the last two weeks against lefties they’re hitting 208 The team OPS numbers are still just outside the bottom five 20.2% strikeout rate isn’t fantastic But you know Eduardo Rodriguez he’s a decent option but is he the best option that the uh the Diamondbacks have I don’t think so And even then say Rodriguez were to have a decent start you hand the ball over to a Diamondbacks bullpen that collapsed once again on Saturday and now you know has a staff erra that you know is still at 2.75 for the week But we saw on on Saturday that I don’t that run is going to be sustainable If you just look at sort of the last five games for the uh for the Diamondbacks you sort of take away last weekend series and recent form for the Arizona Diamondbacks that bullpen erra starts to swell again now at 3.95 So I just think that you know even if the Diamondbacks had a solid game from Rodriguez they have the better bullpen They have the hotter offense right now I think that you know the Marlins are worth a shot here at some plus money I also like the over as well but I’m going to take a shot here with the Marlins plus the to one and a half runs and on and on the money line here at plus 160 and that’s going to be my free pick But just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you subscribe to our channel and smash that thumbs up And if you’re looking for my best bets you can find those at Pick Dogs Premium Why are Pic Dogs Check out our betting tools They’re 100% free They’re the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you’re making your best bets for the day’s action Thanks for watching See you guys soon
