This was a hell of a series. Not to be cliche, but sweeps are hard and you did it with some brilliant pitching and an offense that never ever quits. And a great series for young players like Scott and Gorman is icing on the cake. LFG
WWWINNER!!!!
#NNI (Nolans Nolaned In) UPDATE

**2025 Regular Season:**
Arenado – 11 NNI
Gorman – 12 NNI
Walker – 1 WWI (Walkers Walked In)
I got some beers, I’m smoking some ribs (St. Louis style, of course) and the Cards shut out and sweep the ‘dians. Talk about a good Sunday!
The Guardians are awful
Sweeps are hard and so am I!
.500 on the road after starting like 1-11 is pretty impressive
Libby & Gorm heard after the game singing:
We are the two best friends that anyone could have…
<3
# DAAAAAAAAA CARDINAAAAAAALS SWEEP THE GUARDIANS!
best series all year so far imo
# [WINNER!!!!!!](https://twitter.com/cardinalsgifs/status/1681131016394788865)
The Liberator! GORMANIA! Arenado 1,900th hit & 400th double! This game had it all.
Sweeps are EZ. Don’t @ me.
47-38 (85 games total)
14-19 (first 33 games)
33-19 (last 52 games)
What a beautiful sweep that was!!. Glad to hear Arais is ok and I hope Arenado’s injury isn’t serious!!
Good series for the Birds. Always great to sweep anybody on the road.
#CERTIFIED
I’m a Gorman hater, mainly because I’m old school and love speed, contact, and small ball, but he will be so fun if he continues to roll
exactly WTF you wanna see as a follow up to those last 2 cubs games. Go Astros
I liked the part where we only let the other team score in 1 inning across the whole series. We should do that more often.
What a great series. We did what a good team would do. Let’s beat up on Pittsburgh and head to Chicago on a real high
A bit surreal that we’ve never swept Cleveland before, but I’ll take it!
Yay
Cardinals swept, everyone did their parts all around and played some damn good baseball. Especially Sonny Gray setting the tone for the rest of the series.
Anybody else see that Trevor Bauer got sent down from his team in Japan? He has the highest qualified ERA in a league that’s in a massive dead ball era. Hopefully the “sign Bauer” stuff can stop now!
Anyway in the post game thread there can be some separation from all the computer graphic stuff and the actual highlights? Even just putting some spacing between the computer stuff and the highlights would be great.
Sweeps are hard………….*and so am I*
