The cubs are a very good team, but they’re starting to become massively overrated with these power rankings. They’ve been losing a lot of games to good/solid teams the last month or so and that division lead has shrunk quite a bit.

The Cardinals are in the 3rd of 3 Wild Card spots.
Mets and Brewers in 1 and 2, 1 game ahead of Padres in 4th and 1.5 games ahead of Giants.
We’re chasing for the Division, but also competing against these other Division teams for the playoffs.
This has been a great and for most of us very surprising season, with lots of baseball left, I’m very happy where we are.
I prophesy today that Brother Fedde is going to throw a perfect game, and all organizations will call the Cardinals and offer their entire farm systems in exchange for this man.
