Miami Dolphins Bring Minkah Fitzpatrick Back!!! More Moves On The Way!!!

dolphins Uh we’re busy today [Music] What is up Finn fans there is a lot we have to talk about but first and foremost is the trade The Miami Dolphins have traded Jaylen Ramsay and John Smith So both Ramsay and John Smith and a seventhround pick is going to the Pittsburgh Steelers Even though we’ve seen reports here and there that’s saying that the Steelers don’t want Jaylen Ramsay and the T tra Trey Pat don’t listen to everything you know uh you know you hear on the internet and the Dolphins get Ma Fitzpatrick So the safety that we drafted is coming back to Miami after leaving with the whole Brian Flores and you know not this this and that And the Dolphins also get a fifth but it’s a 2027 fifth So it’s not a next year’s fifth round pick So the Dolphins have two fifths not this upcoming draft but the draft after So the Dolphins send Jonnu Ramsey and don’t do any money deals which is pretty good and is seventh 2027 seventh and in turn get Mika Fitzpatrick back so our safety room just got real good Still worried about the quarterback situation but you know we’ll see how that pans out in the fifth Very interesting trade This this a lot of people saw this coming especially with the John Smith going back to the Steelers You know they had the injury at the with their tight end and their offensive coordinator having a lot of familiarity with Janu Smith Uh it sucks because I was hearing that the Dolphins are trying to get something done with Janu I would have liked to keep Janu but you know we get Mika Fitzpatrick back which I did not see happening Like I really didn’t see that happening Um I don’t know if he’d ever want to come back to Miami I guess it wasn’t a situation with the organization I guess it was more of a thing with Brian Flores but Ma Fitzpatrick is coming back to the Miami Dolphins But this is this is interesting This This right here is interesting because after all is said and done Raheem Moert tweets this out He says “Hot take being a Pro Bowler on the Dolphins get treated like blank Happy for my guy though Go ball out.” So Raheem Moert crap kind of crapping on the Dolphins after going on the fish tank and saying good things about the Miami Dolphins organization and about the Dolphins So I find find that very interesting Um and again I wanted to keep Janu I wanted to get a deal done with him obviously You know Sealer’s more important get an extension with Sealer because he’s actually going to be here probably for a few more years more than um John Smith’s going to be But if the this trade came out of nowhere right we all saw I I think I told you guys that the trade will probably happen a few weeks before the start of training camp and the vets are reporting on the 22nd So it’s literally 3 weeks before the start of the vets reporting So makes sense with the timetable And again I’m just befuddled that we got Mika Fitzpatrick back All of a sudden our our our safety room is just so much better in my opinion Like I am ecstatic with the state of the Miami Dolphins secondary in the safety room because how many times did I tell you guys that you know Fatu Melanu I like him He did play well with the Lions his injuries kind of worry me Ashton Davis I like him in certain aspects but to me him as a starter isn’t 100% a thing And I’m like uh I don’t know how I feel And now we add Mika Fitzpatrick back to that And I’m like oh no we’re good Safety’s perfect I’m good with that Now you we add one corner Give me one corner Give me Rul Douglas Give me Stefan Gilmore Give me you know give me one of those two guys I’m going into the season like all right I’m feeling much better much better And you know the defense doesn’t worry me anymore And I could see this team winning more games than I thought beforehand because I was terrified of the secondary of the defense Whereas now you know you if our pass rushers can stay healthy and all that this defense can be really something And then we just need the offense and again depth I’m gonna make a whole video about team needs still going into the training camp though so that’s something But supposedly the Miami Dolphins are not done because from Tom Pelisero he says the Dolphins are now in conversations with multiple teams about acquiring a tight end after sending John Smith to Pittsburgh Per source a wild start to the holiday week could get wilder Now Michael Mayer from the um Las Vegas Raiders I almost said Oakland Um Kyle Pittz from the Atlanta Falcons Like which tight end are we talking about and again if the Dolphins do that we’re in a we’re in another situation The Dolphins are making moves right now to reassure the fan base and me that this isn’t a tanking move right you don’t add Mika Fitzpatrick to your roster if you’re tanking That’s just not what you do Um and Ma still fairly young Let me Now I also think that Ma’s contract is going to play in an effect to the money that the Dolphins have right because Ma is only 28 and he has two years left on his contract He’s getting 15 million this year and he’s getting 17 million next year So I have to see how that affects the cap space because now with trading away Jaylen Ramsay um we are at sitting at about like 21 22 million give or take uh in cap space So we have cap space but I have to see how his contract is here I’ll show you kind of what it looks like cuz this is what the rough like outline of what his contract looks like We don’t have like restructuring and da da So they might give him a new contract right they might give Mika Fitzpatrick a new contract restructure it um to you know give him more money on the back end because there’s no guarantees right you know next year they could cut him if they want to and save money but obviously they’re not going to cut him next year So they’re probably going to want to give him um a new contract So we’ll see how that all pans out There’s a lot of moving pieces now and a lot of stuff is going to be happening Like Tom Pelis said they’re going to go probably try to go get a tight end I think they’re going to go and sign a corner Again they talked to Brazil Douglas They’ve been contact with Asante Samuel Jr There’s rumors of um Stfan Gilmore What is the This is This is the time right after the 4th of July they’ll probably come back The rookies report on the 15th The vets report on the 22nd They start practicing on the 23rd Camp is open to the me to the public and everything on the 26th This is where you start to see pieces move They’ll probably try to figure out the tight end situation They’ll try to figure out the quarterback situation Hopefully they add depth that there there’s not much more they need to do to make me again You may feel different because obviously some people will feel different about different aspects of this team but there’s not much more they need to do to make me make me feel more secured going into the 2025 season I need a starting corner I need depth on the offensive line Give me a tight end Now supposedly they’re already in talks about trying to get a tight end So there’s that I need give me a corner which obviously the Dolphins are going to go out and get a corner There’s no way they’re going to go into the season not having adding at least one more corner I need that depth on the offensive line I understand they probably feel comfortable because they made the additions They brought in Janu Jonah They brought in James Daniels They feel good about Patrick Paul They feel good about Austin Jackson Obviously everyone feels good about Aaron Brewer Big leap last year showing that he can play very well and you know was more about the quarterback situation with the Titans It’s behind them They like Keon Smith and again I’m talking about all this tomorrow when I look at uh the camp position battle for the offensive line Uh they like the guys behind but I need like give me sheriffs Give me Give me somebody that is depth that god forbid something happens I’m knocking on wood We’re not screwed throwing in somebody like the Texans game where we had Cameron I think his name is at right tackle and he was getting beat bad all game I need that depth But as of right now Miami Dolphins bringing Mika Fitzpatrick Mindblower Did not see that happening Ramsayy’s gone Uh John is gone We picked up a fifth for 2027 So no we don’t have any additional picks in 2026 The draft coming up Dolphins are in talks about getting a tight end Things are moving Things are grooving Comment below Let me know what you guys think Are you
