  1. could be nothing. or could be Fisher trying to get leverage to get more public money out of Vegas since he’s cash poor.

  2. Wow, he is going to burn so many bridges or force an expansion for MLB at this point

  3. Portland would be an infinitely better fit for the A’s than Vegas. PDX baseball has a spiritual kinship with Oakland’s style of working class, gritty baseball. However, I don’t want Fisher anywhere near it. I don’t want Portland’s first MLB team to be tainted with a d-bag owner. Too much bad juju.

  4. Portland and Salt Lake are itching for a team and are willing to pay for one. Vegas is going downhill. What will he do now?He should have sold to Lacob. Would have gotten a piece of the Dubs too. Idiot.

  5. Honestly it would be harder for me to get to Portland than Vegas but I would just rather the A’s go to Portland for some reason (obviously if they can’t go back to Oakland)

  6. For starters, this is not “Fisher’s Jet”. It’s owned by a pilot named Chris Krajacic who you can hire to fly you places privately. Fisher may could have used his services before but so do a ton of other people.

Secondly, at no point did this jet ever fly in or out of Las Vegas or anywhere near Vegas. It took off out of San Carlos in California at 9:49 AM on June 23 to go to Portland, Fisher was still at the groundbreaking ceremony when that jet took off in a different state.

I don’t know how someone could get this much wrong and present it as fact.

  7. The Trailblazers are for sale. Maybe he wants to foray into the NBA as well.
