BREAKING: Connor Brown signs with New Jersey Devils

The Edmonton Oilers have lost another bottom six player with Connor Brown moving on to the New Jersey Devils on a 4-year deal worth $3 million a year. Connor Brown two seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, 153 games played, 17 goals, 42 points. Rough first season to say the least. didn’t score till 60 plus games into the season which came against the Washington Capitals which if you’re at the Rogers Rogers place that night you know how electric that atmosphere was. Hats were literally thrown on the ice for a guy who didn’t score a hat-tick. So incredible stuff happened that night. Got a bit better from there. Strong playoffs. Obviously was part of a really special uh penalty kill the Oilers had which was historic on that run to the cup final. Another good playoffs as well this year. contributed a lot more in the regular season with 13 goals and then five as well in the playoffs. Big moments against the LA Kings in game six and also the Dallas Stars as well in the Western Conference final. Unfortunately got hurt. It came out that he had a fractured big toe which really held him back. You could see in the Stanley Cup final as well. So again the others move on from Connor Brown four-year deal 3 million bucks. If you look at daily faceoff right now, the bottom six is uh is thin to say the least. Third line’s not bad. Trent Frederick, Adam Henry, Casper, Kaan, fourth line currently, Max Jones, Noah Phelp, Matias Yammark. They have $4.5 million to play with in free agency still. Still a few names out there. They’ve been linked with guys like Andrew Mania. So, we’ll see if that comes to fruition for the Edmonton Oilers. for now. After losing Cory Perry and Victor Robinson earlier today, they have now also lost Connor Brown. What’s up, Nation citizens? 1. Team looking weaker by the hour lol! Good luck competing against LA VGK DALLAS and the big boys FLORDIA!!! Panthers could easily be the 80's Oilers and with all their signings and duration locked up oh man. Need some big signings here cause right now the Oil look weak and still no goaltending!

  2. Oilers fans: “omg I’m gonna insane if we just run it back a third time”
Then freak out when they start moving people we are one day into FA people take a breath and chill out

  3. Looks good cleaning house…Perry, Brown, Arvidsson, Kane gone. They all went dry against Florida.

Should move.on from Janmark and Henrique also
