Dallas Cowboys “BIGGEST WEAKNESS” Could End Up Being SECRET WEAPON?! Stephon Gilmore RETURN?!

Welcome back to Attack on Cowboys. We have somewhat of a miniature news roundup today as we’re going to discuss how some of our perceived biggest weaknesses could actually end up being the Dallas Cowboys secret weapons this upcoming season. Are we being teased about a return from a future Hall of Famer back to the Dallas Cowboys? Let’s get right into it. And be sure to subscribe for more Dallas Cowboys content just like this. [Music] man, shut your up. All right, first thing we’re going to jump into is the perceived weakness of the Dallas Cowboys going into the season right now. I think the Cowboys, generally speaking, if you’re a football guy, if you’re taking all of your biases out of it, you looking at this with an objective lens, you would have to look at this and say the Cowboys have fixed a lot of their depth issues across the board. And honestly, they fielded a pretty damn good roster thus far. The biggest question marks, however, would have to be from the running back room and the cornerback room. The main reasons being health. Health is going to be the biggest reasons why these rooms are going to be question marks. And the running back room is one in particular that I think is the missing link on the offense right now. If the running backs are better than what people are are are thinking they’re going to be, then I think this team is going to be highly successful, even having a deep playoff run. If the running backs are worse than people are thinking that they’re going to be, then the Cowboys are in for a long season. I think the running back room is going to really dictate a lot of success for the Dallas Cowboys this season simply because that’s what Shotti wants to do. He he’s building this whole thing around being a smashmouth physical football team that’s able to run the ball, use all blades of grass on the field. And if you can’t do that, that mean you fail, right? That mean you fail. So it’s as simple as can be. And I think that even though a lot of people, including Dallas Cowboys on Sports Illustrated, believe that the running back room is still the biggest weakness of the Cowboys heading into camp, I actually think that this could probably end up being one of the bigger surprises. I’m not the only one that thinks that. We have an ESPN talking head who has high hopes for one of the Cowboys running backs. Let’s take a listen.
Swagu though, do you have your eye on somebody in this rookie class who you think could have an impact?

that is insane. 25 running backs got picked in this year’s draft. That’s the most since 2019.
I sure do. Uh Jaden as blue as my shirt in Dallas and because of because of speed and home run ability. And I know
and I think that’s the main thing that a lot of people will look at, but I I don’t even think that Jaden Blue’s biggest reason for why he could be successful this upcoming season has anything to do with him. I think the biggest reason that Jaden Blue could end up being this jump out surprise candidate for the Cowboys as it pertains to a player that’s going to perform higher than where he was drafted. Because whether or not you’re the biggest Cowboys fan out there and you think this guy’s going to be the next best thing since Zeke Elliott in 2016, the you got to take the Cowboys tenant glasses off. He was drafted late in the draft. He was a fifth round pick for a reason. Yes, we’ve seen running backs whether no matter where they’re picked at in the draft be productive if they’re behind a good offensive line. I think that’s where all lies for the Dallas Cowboys. This is a fifth round pick. We can’t expect him to come in and to be the savior of the running game. But if the offensive line is better just by proxy of having a better offensive line coaching staff around because man I don’t know if y’all seen my video from earlier but bro it was downright terrorism what Mike Solari and Mike McCarthy them was doing with the Cowboys last season as it pertains to actually getting guys prepared. Check out that video if you wonder what I’m talking about. I’m just going to say this man. Cooper BB was out there freeballing. Bro was out there freestyling man. He was in a Fortnite battle royale. He had no instruction. no tutelage. He was just thrown out there in the middle of the wasteland and told to fend for himself and go find some armor and some blue juice to slurp, bro. That that’s what happened to Cooper BB, bro. So, I I don’t want to hear nothing about how these guys look. Tyler G, none of them, man. After I learn what I learned about Mike Salari and what he was or wasn’t actually doing with the Cowboys last season, bro, I think that Jaden Blue is damn near set up perfectly to have a huge rookie season and he wants to work on his receiving out of the backfield and all this stuff. Man, hey man, I think that Jaden Blue will be able to get anything that he possibly can want out of his rookie season. You’re playing with all pro quarterback. You have an allp pro left guard. You have an offensive line that honestly looks like it’s going to take a massive leap this upcoming season just based off of having a better coaching staff in place that’s actually trying to use their strengths, man, and not make them play against what made them pros in the first place. Bro, I can’t Y’all got to go check that video out, man. Misari was tripping. He was tripping. But yeah, man. Jaden Blue. I think that this is an excellent pick and I think that home run speed, as long as he’s able to make the proper reads as it pertains to hitting different gaps because I think the Cowboys going to use a lot of a zone run scheme. I think they’re going to use a lot of duo blocks and that’s going to require him to be able to make his proper reads as a running back. As long as he’s able to do that and as long as he fixes his ball security, I think that he is going to be an absolute stud. Now, let’s go ahead listen to what Marcus got to say and I might have to cut up out this thing early cuz they ain’t about to copyright me. There were some questions about fumbling coming out of college. He was in a stacked running back room. One of the one of the fortunate things I think for him is that he doesn’t have a lot of carries on his body.
Yeah, I think that right there is an underrated aspect of what people are looking at too, man. I don’t know why people want running backs that already got 600 carries on their body coming out of college. Bro, this man is going to be as fresh as fresh can be. And and the beautiful thing is because he hasn’t had as many reps as some other guys, he doesn’t have as many bad habits to break and he’s going to be able to be molded. exactly to what the Cowboys need in that running back room. So, I think the Jaden Blue is definitely a safe pick for somebody that’s a breakout candidate.
But more importantly, it’s what Mina alluded to at the end when she was talking about Genty. I think the Dallas offensive line is going to be one of the more physical and athletic offensive lines when it comes to zone scheme and far as getting running backs in lane.
Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Exactly what I just said. Marcus Spears, you must be reading my mind, brother. Great minds think alike. Exactly what I just said. And I think that’s exactly why Jaden Bluebra, I’m looking at him for potentially having a big season for the Cowboys this upcoming year. Now, let’s get into the bit of interesting news that I know a lot of y’all were probably like, “Man, can you help me get to what I came here for?” Hey, man. Gilly and Wany Thomas having a conversation on Twitter. That That’s all it is. They’re having a conversation on Twitter. Wandly jumped out and was like, “Great talks with the OG always with the handshake sign towards Stefon Gilmore.” and he responded, “My bro,” with the hund sign. And of course, Cowboys fans jumped on this. And and and for the interest of just entertaining this for a minute, I don’t think that this actually means anything is imminent. No, the Cowboys don’t actually have any legit trade rumors or signing rumors uh going around, anything like that right now. But I’m going to say this right now, man. Gilly, your ass is welcome to come back to Dallas. You could be part of what’s making the Cowboys have another secret weapon on the other side of the ball, bro. The cornerback room. the the the element of the unknown with what we have with guys like a Kaire Elum and him having a strong off seasonason thus far and guys like a Savone Revel and what he could be when he comes back with his size and his athletic ability and some of the traits that he has as an outside corner. I think that our cornerback room and that element of surprise that the Cowboys have it. Two pretty important positions to be quite frank, man. Because here’s the thing, in the running back room, if you can’t really gauge what you’re going to be getting from the running backs, you don’t know which running back the Cowboys going to throw out there. And if guys like a Jaden Blue coming out there with four or three speed, and then you have Phil Mafa coming out there and luring that hat, putting his shoulder in your damn chest, hey man, that that’s going to be a long day. And then the quarterback, you got to deal with guys like Savone Revel and Kyrie Elim. Savone Revel is known as being a ball hawk and you don’t really know what to expect from this guy. So again, the Cowboys have some secret weapons. As long as one or two of these guys step up in one of these rooms, I think they’re going to find him a gym. I ain’t going to lie, man. I think Savone Rebels going to be a gym. I think that Jaden Blue is going to be a gym. I think that Phil Mafa is going to be better than people think. I think that by the end of the season, we’ll see Jaden Blue and Phil Mafa kind of developing into one of those really pungent one-two punches kind of like we had with Scoo Maker and Ferguson when uh Dalton Schultz was still here to kind of push Dalton Schultz out the way. I think we kind of see kind of like a grandfather year for Miles Sanders and Javvante Williams. um if they both even actually make the active roster, but I think we’ll see a grandfather here from those two. And then by the end of the season, we see Phil Mafa and Jaylen Blue kind of really develop as a secret weapon in that Dallas Cowboys running back room and those guys going to be bringing you that juice similar to what Detroit is giving you with the Gibbs and Montgomery combination. Similar. I ain’t say the same thing. Similar, bro, cuz it’s giving you the same effect. As long as your offensive line is taking care of business up front, I think that you’re good, bro. Regardless, man, this is all going to be dependent upon the offensive line. That’s just where I’m at with it. And I do think the Cowboys, man, they got a couple aces in their sleeves. As long as some of these things fall into place, the way that things are kind of positioned to fall into place right now, they got a couple aces up their sleeves they can play.
