Hey, Costi. How are you? Um, I hope everyone is looking forward to the Fourth of July weekend in US. Plenty of baseball actions throughout the long weekend. So, let’s enjoy some action on baseball. Yeah, just because you’re not going to be working and you’re going to be barbecuing doesn’t mean that you can’t be cashing as well with the Yang angle. We’re going to be giving you guys a free prediction on the Oakland Athletics against the Tampa Bay Rays. Um, right now listed pitchers, we have Spence and Pepio. And Jay, why don’t you give us a prediction and strategy behind that play?
Yes. So, Oak Oakland versus Tampa Bay. Spence versus Pepio. So, Spence has been quietly been effective posting a 3.07 RA over his last seven outings. I think he he can keep the hitters off palance and he can limit damages. The pepot has the better stuff and has been you know throwing really um you know good stuff but has shown cracks early including a shakiest first versus inning versus same Oakland team. So I think if Oakland swings it like they played versus New York Yankees I think Spence gives them a real shot here. So, I think the value that we’ll be having as an underdog with Oakland, I think there’s a positive expected value with Oakland. So, I’m taking Oakland to upset here. There you have it, guys. Again, make sure your pitchers are listed. Pepio and Spence. And we are taking Oakland Athletics. The Yangle is the Oakland Athletics on the money line. Now, Jay, uh, we do a lot of these videos. I just want to ask you, I mean on an average day, how many hours do you spend handicapping the next day because I know it it’s got to take a long time, right?
Yes. So I mean for for for my free pick only it takes at least an hour to kind of analyze the starting pitchers offense the pass records and it it takes a lot of time. I’m not just picking around random game for winner but I just want to give the full analytics even though it’s a free pick. Uh so I I think you know in the last video someone asked you know why do you give out this much information but I think it’s obvious to give much information out there to help the community to win you know even though it’s a free pick I want the viewers to win and listen at the end of the day the secrets behind making winning predictions it’s not actually just knowing how to do it. It’s being able to put in hours and hours and hours a day of doing it and having the commitment to doing this as a business, not a losing hobby. A lot of people don’t treat sports betting like a business. And we try to educate, at least I personally from my experience, I educate people how to have sustainability long-term in this business. And that takes discipline and that takes time. There’s no instantaneous gratification because we win a day or even a week. Too small of a sample size. I mean, I I talked to a lot of sharp betting groups over the years, Jay, and they always say less than a thousand games, you’re guessing a record. A thousand games is a real sample size. Now, to a a casual better, a thousand games seems like an eternity, but to a pro betting group, that’s the only way you can calculate real percentages with a thousand game sample size because that’s how long it takes for you to really create a trend within your system, if this is going to be consistent or not.
