lol I remember this clearly, this was the first season I became a Raiders fan. I knew I was in for a bad time, but at least the Raiders have the weirdest losses and the weirdest wins I’ve ever seen.

I don’t really remember this play, but this doesn’t seem as egregious as you’d think at first glance.
it was 3rd and 6 at 45 seconds left when they got the sack, making it 4th down and about 13. After the sack they didn’t get the snap off until there were only 29 seconds left.
The offsides penalty would give them 5 yards back, so it’s about 4th and 7 instead of 4th and 13. So yeah, that sucks. But it was still 4th down, and it still took 16 seconds off of the clock.
This was stupid but it wasn’t a game changing mistake. There have been lots of worse mistakes than this.
