Never fear! We have the Lizard King on the mound Friday to shut down the Baby Bears on the 4th of July at Wrigley!!
I thought the upcoming Cubs series would determine if we’re Buyers or Sellers but getting not only swept but shut out by the Pirates answers that question. Every player should be on the block for the right return.
I felt last nights game was worse.
This inconsistency sums up the Cards this year. They win the series against the Dodgers, but then struggle against Milwaukee and Pittsburgh while beating the crap out of Cleveland.
This series should solidify us as sellers
So to the assholes who downvoted me for saying they aren’t a rival and the post about “owning cleveland” is fucking stupid. Great job.
I don’t understand with the hitting issues why Pozo isn’t getting starts over Pages. At least let him DH. He’s one of the best hitters on the team and he rides the bench. His defense is not that much worse.
Terrible bummer bats need a witchdoctor

Im new to keeping up with baseball although I’ve watched cards games since I was a kid with my grandpa. Just not too seriously so how does this work are they basically out of a wild card spot or even playoff contention now or still plenty of season left to get there? I am shocked they lost this bad to pirates but I really wanna see them take the cub series. Doubt they will but would still be cool to see. This team has been so strange this year. One moment they’re red hot the next moment they just dont even try.

Guys chill out. It’s just a stretch of 27 scoreless innings against last-place Pittsburgh. Don’t be so reactionary!!
I know it’s easy to be down on this roster and it’s performance this week, but you don’t wanna be called a bad fan by a very online dork, do you?
Not just swept by the Pirates, but didn’t score a single run hahahahahaha What is this team??
Glad I didn’t waste my day watching this shitty ass team
I mean wtf?
Might be the worst offensive stretch I’ve seen in my lifetime. I understand it’s a long season and baseball is weird but Jesus Christ guys.
Are we sellers now? Smh

Rough series
Whoof. This offense must have decided to start the 4th of July vacation early.
Welp, this is not a playoff team.
Not only get swept by the Pirates, but can’t score 1 run?
Better be selling at the deadline.
A part of me is morbidly curious to see how far we can push this lol
This series was a far cry from the days of Pujols and co. knocking the crap out of the Pirates day in and day out.
I’m doing it now, anxious Arthur-Darthur
The team will start winning again once we have three catchers in the lineup, and four on the roster.
If we’re sellers at the deadline what do you think we could get for The Lizard King 👑????
Rats, rats and rats
