I mean that’s pretty much what you want from a bottom 6, if you can’t score goals might as well be able to not allow them, the goals are just extra

How does he compare to Essiymont? Sounds very similar from what I’ve read so far. We’re paying him slightly more than what Mikey is getting in Boston.

Came here from leafs land when I heard TB got him. I really like Holmberg, he’s outstanding at anything that isn’t scoring related. Berube liked him enough to play him on our second line with JT and Nylander at times. Great defense, gap control, tons of penalties drawn… I was really shocked that we didn’t keep him. This guy is gonna do wonders in your bottom 6, well worth that contract
