  9. I like the player not for us though we are guard heavy I blame the players we wanted got drafted the five picks before. Either way hope this guy is a diamond in the rough

Does this say to anyone else that they’d rather go with a three specialist, 2nd rd rookie deal guy vs. a hot, UFA who is wanted by a lot of clubs and will probably get that bag stitched with diamonds that he wants. Signing Schroeder is more important than THJ now. We need bigs still and there’s not a huge list. Trades are ok but let’s not give up 1st round picks on old vets or unproven talent that just aren’t a fit where they are currently at.
