Chicago Bears Tyson Bagent Story HE WANTS TO BATTLE FOR QB1 JOB

[Music] What’s up, guys? Tyson Beant took part in multiple interviews over the last month, but a recent story has been circulating talking about Tyson’s inspirations to challenge for the starting job. I have the actual quote from Tyson himself and what he really said. I wanted to briefly touch on the subject, but also if you are a fan of the Chicago Bears and ready for training camp so we can stop talking about these ridiculous stories. It’s been a long off season. Hit that like button and comment below. But let’s go ahead and get right into it. Tyson Beant was asked if he wanted to compete for the starting job. And like almost every backup in the NFL, of course, Tyson would love a competition. But his recent comments when he was on a CHGO podcast are being blown a bit out of proportion by some fans. Anyone who’s ever listened to Tyson talk or knows much about his story understands just how competitive of a dude he is, how competitive his father is, and how much he believes in himself. And that’s a common theme among players in the NFL. Everyone believes that they’re capable of being starters. Nobody makes the NFL thinking, “Oh, I’m just a backup.” That kind of mindset does not get you far. But to be clear, Tyson never said he wanted to be the starter. He was asked specifically about it. And he responded, “There’s an element to that, but I’m training to become the league MVP and Super Bowl champion myself every day, regardless of what position I’m in today.” Solid quote from Tyson basically saying he’s training to get better himself. and of course he wants to play and start in the NFL. I’ve always been a huge fan of Tyson Beant and I feel confident in him as our backup to Caleb Williams. We have a guy capable of coming in and carrying our team to victory any given Sunday. He’s going to fight hard and players will battle for him. He’s a guy I’ll always root for no matter where he ends up, but I hope he stays in Chicago long term. But to be honest, I don’t think there was much of a story here. I think Tyson Bean is a big-time competitor and like every backup, he does want to compete. But I hope everyone has a great weekend.
