Angels vs. Braves Game Highlights (7/3/25) | MLB Highlights
The Angels did announce today that they put Christian Moore on the 10 day injured list with that left thumb spring. Tough news for who certainly felt like he was just starting to settle in. But in the meantime, Chad Stevens is here. He gets the call and it will be a major league debut for the Angels and Stevens tonight. He gets the start at second base tonight in game three against the Braves Angels and Braves game three of the series here at Truest Park on the eve of July 4th. Selder is on the mound for Atlanta. He is trying to get back on the balance beam after the roughest start of his career. Last time out against Philadelphia. The Angels leadoff man. Netto is hitting 264. He’s trying to break out of an zero for 13 at the plate. I like that right there. Base hit nice job by Neto going down and getting that pitch and just not trying to pull it back up. The middle slider was down and away. Pretty good piece of hitting Angels have a base runner and Nolan Shana will be the next batter shot a well out to left field profar is there the second game back from suspension impacted the game last night. That’s the first out of the first. So one away with Netto at first , mike Trout will be the next batter runner goes for second. Struck him out, almost threw him out. But Netto is able to get into scoring position. Big strike out there for elder. Not out of the woods yet. Taylor Ward ranks fifth in the American League with 20 homers this season. Good, good. There’s a walk. So two on two out here comes joe Adle riding a 13 game hitting streak and there is a base hit up the middle for joe Adle extending his hit streak to 14 and driving in Zack Netto for an early Angels lead one. Nothing pretty amazing what he’s doing right there. That’s a sinker down and right back up the middle. He is not trying to pull everything. Stayed on that one. Well, we’ve seen him hit the baseball hard throughout this whole time that 1, 109.9 to 110 off the bat didn’t seem like he hit it right into the ground, but it got through. That’s amazing. Killed some worms on the way through that infield proved by Travis D so two on that pitch misses for ball four, there’s another walk, two singles and a couple of walks in this inning. Now the bases are loaded for Logan. Oh, off the end of the bat. Matt Olson waits and steps on the bag. The Angels do get one. Pravo is coming up 18th start of the season for Jose Soriano. The sinker will be in heavy usage here tonight. Okha one for eight here in this series. Oh, and a wicked chase. And Acuna goes down 12 to Matt Olsen ground ball and he wastes no time extending that on base streak to 33 games, three hits yesterday, a single, a double and Then the big grand slam and now he starts game three off with a single on base. Again. Here’s Austin Riley. There is another wicked knuckle curve, a second strikeout on that pitch down. Here’s Marcel Ozuna 1 to 2 and it gets strike 3 99 99. It was three strikeouts in the first for Soriano. That’s just wicked. He went inside with all three of those pitches, the two sinkers and they buried that slider to get red Heo. Good one. Here one down is Chad Stevens making his major league debut right off the short hop. A, a good pick and a good throw across to get Stevenson his first big league at bat going a at the very first strike that he sees. This is kind of a sinking line drive. This is not an easy pick because that is going to be a little bit of a higher bounce based on the spin of the baseball. But Austin Riley makes it look easy. The top of the order to Zack Neto, here’s the pitch on its way and Netto swings it. This one lifts the ball high and he hits it well out in the left center field, it’s going to bang halfway off the wall. Getting to the ball quickly is Harris and hustling up to second with a two out double is Zack Netto. So we’ll see if Shana well, can bring in Neto with two outs. Fly ball, center field Harris going back long run track, he leaps up and he runs into the wall. It’s a two run home run for Nolan Seawell three nothing Halos Shona. Wow. Dead central 103.1 another. Baseball hit 103 plus this season for Shaunell. That’s impressive. 415. So Adele at first, here’s Jorge Soler called strike on the outside corner and down goes. So two down for Logan Oap lined out to left center. There’s a base hit for the catcher Logan Oap. So now two on with two out luis Rengifo struck out last inning and he got him looking that time frozen with a fastball up and in and elder got the call and this time he works around the jam and for Zac Neto, he is singled, double third at bat already in the fourth inning. Fly ball center field hit. Well, Michael Harris going back at the wall, it’s gone. Zack Neto, he’s singled, he’s doubled and he’s homered in his first three at bats. It’s four Floyd. This is a triple away from the cycle for Magneto one out runner at first defeat. Little tapper over the mound. Tough play for Ozzie bare hands throws got him well, good play by Ozzie. All that had slow hit infield hit written all over it. Here’s Chad Stevens, another grounder to the left side and Riley just took away his first big league hit. Not yet young fella great defense on both corners and Stevens still looking for his first big league hit another great a Riley four walks in the game for the halos along with a hit by pitch. So Trout on base twice and brings up Taylor and he does rips that one pros it gets by Mike Trout rounding third. He’s going to score Taylor Ward digging for third, the relay. Not in time. There’s the trip you need it and just like that. A pitch not called ends up resulting in a run on the second triple for Taylor Ward and another RB I two quick outs. A pair of ground outs. The Braves have had only four base runners tonight. They’ve had two hits in the ball game. They’ve each been singles and they’ve had two walks on one pitch, bounced the left side and through base hit off the webbing of the glove of Rene and got into left field and there you go , Marcel, he snaps and zero for 11 jerks and profile zero for two. That one is fouled at the plate. Oh, swing and a miss and a strikeout profar is retired and that is six scoreless for Soriano Soriano has allowed just three singles no runs in this game, Michael Harris for two the third time through here. Oh, and how about it? Way to finish seven strong for jose Soriano caps off a great night. Seven scoreless with a strikeout Iglesias in for the night. Taylor Ward is there to greet him and Then Iglesias comes in on his heels and strikes out the first guy that he faces. Joe Adell will be the next batter. Pop up center field and it’s going to fall for a knock. Harris broke back and that’s what happens when you’re going good. He picks up his third hit Jorge Soler at the plate. So swings and misses got him with a change up two down here in the top of the ninth trying to strike out the side. Here’s Iglesias, he’s done it on to the bottom of the ninth. Brock Burke is on to finish this one off and he’ll face Ozuna profar and Albes due up a swing and a miss and a strikeout for the big, that’s a great change up. He has not only have the Braves not scored a run, they haven’t had a runner at second base in this game one out for jerks and pro pro far launches one to deep left field. Ward to the wall. And for the second night in a row, profar takes him deep. It’s a solo home. The Braves finally on the board on the second home run by Jeren Prova and it’s a 51 game is an zero for three night for the Braves. Here’s the next pitch on him. He swings at this one and lifts it in the air, but it’s right at joe Adell. He pockets that one and two gone now here in the bottom of the ninth. So here is Murphy and a swing and a miss. That’s the ball game. 51. Halos beat the Atlanta Braves. And more importantly, they win this series.

FIRST AND GOOD WIN GUYS LETS GET THIS TO OVER 500 TOMORROW
Let’s go halos, we’re on a roll!
A home run so good it made Gubie hit puberty
It always seems Angels under .500 🔥 Angels at .500 💩
Soler needs to be released from the team, he has K”ed almost every at bat and sometimes when we need him more he swing at bad pitches every time.😢
You can’t stop Joe Adell, you can only hope to contain them! How’s it that this team is not 4 or 5 games over .500?
Bring on the Jays
A means ANGELS LFGGGG
EXTEND SORIANO AND NETO!
やったぜ!
Sell the team
LTBU!
My gosh… how many different infielders have the Angels used this season. Makes me think of that other horrible season when they used like 200 different Pitchers
Basically, our Halos only chance of winning is hoping our starter dominates the game- someone see a flaw in this roster strategy?????
Invested this garbage health and training staff that can’t keep these player’s healthy season after season. No wonder that halo’s dugout insider said this franchise doesn’t know what they are doing from top to bottom
トロント遠征前のこのカード勝ち越せてよかった!!
ソリアーーーノ、超QS 7回無失点かっこよ過ぎるよ!!!
