Only TWO New York #Jets Coaches Have Done THIS?!? #shorts #nfl (BADLANDS)

There have been 21 head coaches in Jets history and only two have finished with a winning record. Oh, and both of them resigned. Although the Jets have historically been a losing franchise, I was surprised to find out we only had two coaches and their Jets tenure with a winning percentage greater than 500. Both Herman and Manini had more winning seasons than losing seasons and Rex took us to two AFC Championship games. But all three of those coaches lost slightly more games than they won. Of these two special head coaches, the first coach, unsurprisingly, is Bill Parcels, the only coach in franchise history to post over a 600 win percentage, a tally that would have been even greater if Vinnie didn’t go down to the 99 season opener. While that Jets team finished a respectable 8-8, Parcels decided to retire, handing the reigns to his protege, Bill Bich. When Bichc infamously resigned one day into his tenure, the next man up was Parcel’s linebacker’s coach, Al Gro. Gro began his Jets career hot, going 6-1. But players began complaining about how intense and draining his practices were and therefore couldn’t sustain their dominant start. Even at an impressive 9 and4 record, needing just one win in their final three games to clinch a playoff birth, the Jets lost all three in what became one of the franchise’s worst collapses. Although Gro wasn’t necessarily on the hot seat, he resigned in order to coach his alma moater of Virginia, ending what would be his only head coaching season in the NFL, finishing with a 9-7 career record. Which coach were you surprised didn’t finish their Jets tenure with a winning record?

Only two New York #Jets coaches have done this out of 21?
