I’m putting *the Knife* in over Konecny, if it was my choice. I get why Bennet is there, but skill wise Scheif is more than an extra winger.
I can’t believe scheif doesn’t rate higher
I think that’s fairly safe given his season and the fact Olympics has a 25 man roster instead of 23 like the 4 Nations. I don’t think Konecny did himself any favours at 4 Nations and with no fighting at the Olympics I don’t think Wilson has as much value as he otherwise would.
I don’t think Thompson will make the team if you believe the friction between him and all of the coaches.
I think it’s a mistake on the big ice to leave Bouchard off the roster.
So much could happen in the next few months from injury to performance.
Celebrini could easily play himself onto the team and age could finally catch up to Marchand and Doughty (it already has but maybe not enough to cost them roster spots due to reputation and past performance)
There will be some moving pieces until rosters need to be set. Wouldn’t read too much into 55 being an “extra” at this point – hes obviously most comfortable at C and it will be hard to keep him out of the 4 spots by the time the Olympics roll around.

TSN will under no circumstances give Mark Scheiffle any respect
Hyman, Hagel, Marchand, and Wilson most likely won’t be making the team, save those spots for the young guns like they did for Crosby and company.
I think that 4th line is a mistake. This is not the 4 nations. There will be no shenanigans. The refereeing will be extremely strict.
Every line needs to be fast and every line needs to be able to score. Interference/holding will get called every time so don’t bring Marchand/Wilson/whoever.
I can see at least 5 names that should be below Scheifs
The total disrespect to Mark Scheifele is completely mind boggling. Which TSN representative made this list?
