While the pitching isn’t as good as 2016…dare I say it….the hitting might be better. Im probably wrong on that. But at least in the power department.
Old guy here – at the All Star break, the Cubs were 54-36…
…in 1969.
If I remember correctly the 2016 team had a bit of a slump heading into the break. Hopefully the boys take care of business prior to the break and beyond.
Was this before or after the Chapman trade? Because I don’t know if this Cubs team goes far without making 1 or 2 trades.
