We have two clubs in Kansas City and Arizona who have really struggled this last week. Kansas City are three and nine their last 12. Arizona two and six the last eight. And uh something’s going to have to give today and we’ll break down this game and give you our best play coming right up. It’s Don Buster here from wageralk.com and wageralk TV. Right now on the Wager Talk live odds page, we have Arizona as a 115 favorite with a total of eight and a half under 20 and also eight over 20. The markets are very split on the total in this game. So, of course, whatever you uh like in this game, you like it under, you’re going to find uh find one of your uh sites where you can bet the under eight and a half. If you like it over, you’ll lay that juice and bet the over eight. But, uh you’ll want to do that. Make sure if you’re betting that total to do that. Uh we’ll actually talk about this total first. Uh to us, this is just a tough play on the total as the odds makers are showing here. it’s uh between and that’s why they’re going from eight and eight eight and a half right now. Uh I’ll give you a few little uh trends on this and to maybe help you decide if you want to go that way on the total. Kansas City has gone seven and three to the under in their last 10 games and Arizona has gone 8-2 to the over in their last 10 games. And again, to go with the theme, Kansas City is only has scored under three runs a game in their last five. And Arizona has almost averaged over five and a half runs a game in their last seven. So again, it looks like Arizona’s offense uh is playing well, but uh Kansas City are winning a lot of close games, or actually they’re not winning a lot of close games, but they’re playing a lot of lowscoring games. So for us, uh we will pass the total here. Best of luck to anybody that uh if you want to play that total. Like I say, I just wanted to give you a few little stats for that. Our play in this game is going to be on the side and it is going to be on Arizona, but for the first half on the money line and it’s 110 for the first half on the money line. Uh Eduardo Rodriguez takes the hill for the Dying backs and he had just a brutal start to the season. But now he’s turned it around. In the month of June, he pitched very well in five June starts. He had a 1.98 erra and he’s only allowed three runs in his last two home starts. So he has turned that around and we like him being at home for this one. Uh Kansas City will send Chris Bubik to the hill. And you know what? Chris had an unbelievable May. I think his erra was something like 0.56. It was unbelievable May. And then June came around and he’s really regressed. And the thing with Chris here is that he has already thrown 96 innings. I know that doesn’t seem like a lot, but he had only thrown 46 innings since 2022, and last year he he was used as a reliever as well. So, I kind of think the innings might have caught up to him already. I know it’s just not even halfway through the season, but uh I think that regression is real for Chris. And that’s why we do like Arizona here. Also, Arizona hits left-handed pitching. They’re ninth in Major League Baseball. They faced a tough lefthander last night in Robbie Ray and had a little trouble. So, I think this might be an easier task for them tonight. So, we do like Arizona here. The only reason, and I’m sure everybody that’s following baseball will know why we’re going to play Arizona for the first half, is because that bullpen has really struggled. 28th in Major League Baseball. Few times we’ve bet Arizona for the full game and have been uh beat by that bullpen unfortunately. So no chances today. We will take Arizona and the price is right at a pick for the first half on the money line in this one.
