All right Corby it’s your boy Logan Gilbert it’s the Royals they don’t strike out a ton. We all the show kind of likes Noah Cameron. Good young lefty. Decent young lefty. What are we doing with this one here? Kind of feels like a first five under, something like that. What do you like here? Royals Mariners.
Yeah, Noah Cameron. Uh, when he first came up, like it felt like we were betting on him every day. I haven’t heard his name in quite some time. So, an interesting game to choose. I would be curious because again, I I really don’t look backwards at stats very often. Um, I’d be curious how he looks because I I I did not bet this game. But on the other side, the man himself, if there was a if there was a third place for favorite pitcher, he’s not second, but we’ll give him third. 66 215 Stson University. Logan Gilbert throwing the bazooka. Uh we’ll get 97 at times. Throws a slider. That’s nasty. A split finger. That’s pretty gross. I wish he threw a curveball more often. But um I am a fan of Logan Gilbert, of course. He um he fits all the Corby’s needs for to be a good pitcher. So, u it would be Logan Gilbert through and through for me. You kind of hit it nail on head, Kyle. Like Royals team isn’t really a team that I’m just like caring to back or or or back a strikeout prop against like I I think even with their like just makeshift lineup at times. They still have ways of swinging and making at least contact. So, u struggle here. I really didn’t play anything. Did y’all see the video of this could have been yesterday. This could have been a month ago. I I don’t watch a ton of Royals baseball, but did you see the video of Salvador Perez hitting a ball that loo that uh it looked like it was going to be a home run? Guy jumped on the fence, kind of got upset, everyone thought it was a home run, and it did not leave the park. Like u So it was a double, but like it was the most awfully read outfitter play I’ve possibly ever seen. It was uh it was pretty rough.
I have not seen that, but I do like uh I do like mishaps like that. Bea, what do we think on this one here? Uh, could be a low-scoring game. You know, it’s the Mariners. Roseria has been on fire. It seems like he hits a home run every single night. Uh, what do you think here? Cameron versus Gilbert. Mariners Royals beat up.
Yeah, I I think it’s it’s it’s not priced high enough. I I like it. Second leg of the base parlay. Uh, and I’ve got it priced like closer to minus 300. It’s in the market at minus 180. And I I don’t know why. you kind of look at these guys numbers from a a comparative standpoint and I I know that maybe Cameron has some some higher ceiling, but so far what he’s shown is is pretty lousy. He’s got a 2.79 ER and this is an interesting comparison too. So we got a 2.79 ERA with Cameron, but Gilbert’s RA is actually higher 3.55. So why base winner are you so bullish on this game? Well, you look at the expected RRA, and you can go to basswinner.com. I’ve got this charted out. This is season to date. Uh Gilbert is number one in baseball. Uh base winner erra 1.91. It’s better than Scoobles. Scoops is I think maybe three three uh 3/10 uh greater. And then Cameron’s at 4.77. So for me, those are the numbers that really matter. Uh we can take it over to BBK too, which is probably my favorite uh metric uh of my life. And if you look at at at BBK, uh Gilbert 0.12 versus Cameron47. So there’s a stark uh uh difference there. And then the Seattle offense, uh man, they’ve really been hitting the ball fifth in baseball right now by my numbers versus a 20th Royals offense. And I think maybe I’m even giving the Royals a little bit more credit than they should because if you look at the June uh weighted runs created plus the Royals third from the bottom, worst team in June, Cleveland, believe it or not, then the White Socks, then uh the Kansas City Royals. And we’re talking about weighted runs created plus. Well, in June, uh Detroit was number one, Tampa Bay number two, but Seattle, this Seattle Mariners team that I’m betting on tonight was number three. So, going to make it the second leg of the base winner parlay. Uh, risk one to win. And I got a good good jump today cuz I set it out at 1.66. So, plus 166. And I think they’re giving me like plus plus uh north of plus 180 today, Kyle.
Yeah, plus 187. So, for purposes of the show, we are going to lock in the second leg of the base winner parlay. Braves Mariners. And he’s getting that at plus 187 today. The chat is so good. Ricky Puck says, “Kyle wants to talk about anything but baseball today. Cutting off analysis with hot dog and diddy baby oil talk. Just don’t combine them. That’s a terrible cookout.
