  1. I could hang a wet bath towel on it right now.

The condensed game on YouTube will hit like tonic wine.

  2. Hitting eight home runs to set a new franchise record was a lot of fun to see. Doing it against the Cardinals was hilarious and deeply satisfying.

We do what we want on Independence Day.

    Happy July 4.

  4. Most fun regular season game of the year. 8 home runs? On the 4th of July? Against the Cardinals?

    Fuck yeah. Go Cubs.

  5. I don’t mean to overreact or anything but PCA is the greatest human being to have ever lived.

  6. The old man in me is uncomfortable with the pitching position player especially while leading but I do like showing the Cardinals absolutely no respect lol

  7. Your team just got carved up by a 49 MPH heater

This post was made by Jon Berti Gang

  8. An historic game and millions of fans couldn’t watch because we live in a society where we’re nickel and dimed to death. But alas, it sounded fun!

Love to see this outburst especially against the Cardinals.

  9. Woke up at 7 AM, went and set up some chairs for the town’s parade, had some pals and their kids over, had some beers, went to parade, made some hot dogs. At 1 PM I started watching Cubs, Cubs did amazing, good day so far

  10. Cubs took it personally that Chicago is once again not having official fireworks in the city and made their own.

Sending out Berti in the 9th for fun and even giving up 2 mercy runs he was still a better pitcher than Mikolas was today. Fun stuff.

Amazing game, let’s keep it up tomorrow.

  11. I know that Berti pitching was a strategic move, but I choose the fuck off energy.

  12. Busch hits three dongs and isn’t the player of the game? Sheeeit….

  13. You could be cynical and say the cubs are taking advantage of two teams that are in impressive offensive droughts right now. I prefer to think of it as the Cubs not allowing either team to “get right” against them.

First four-game winning streak since May.

  14. Down in Carolina for a family reunion/barbecue. One of the cousins is dating a dude from St. Louis and he knows I’m a Cubs fan.

Thinking of trolling him with a can of (Michael) Busch when we meet up for dinner in about an hour and half.
