THE A’s ARE SAYING GOODBYE TO OAKLAND! #oaklandathletics #lasvegas #baseball #shorts #sportsshorts

Las Vegas is leveling up again. The Oakland A’s just broke ground on their new $ 1.75 billion stadium right on the strip at the old Tropicana site. It’s designed to hold 33,000 fans with a retractable roof and full climate control, essential for those summer games. The A’s plan to move in by 2028. Until then, they’ll play home games in West Sacramento from 2025 to 2027. The project’s getting up to $380 million in public funding, which has stirred some controversy. Some say it’ll boost jobs and tourism. Others aren’t so sure. Either way, with the Raiders, the Golden Knights, and now the A’s, Vegas is locking in its spot as a major league sports city.
