Yea okay I was gonna have a great 4th of July night but now I’m sad.
He destroyed ayton
Possibly the greatest individual closeout performance in league history. Miraculous FT shooting too
Top 5 all time finals performance for my money
This was so hype to watch
Such a legendary performance
thank you, money-counting guy. so glad to see giannis win it all in THAT finals,
Watched this with my mom, who knows nothing about the NBA, and by the end even she was locked in to watch Giannis lol.
Never going to not upvote posts from that game. Superhuman effort from Giannis that playoff run and to even make it back in time for game 1 after that injury was absurd
Ayton: “help me dammit!”
Sped up like that, I don’t know why more people don’t compare him to Kareem. He doesn’t have the sky hook but the touch from 10ft out is incredible
That’s easily my favorite postseason of all time
Every round seemed to have some chaos and ridiculous moments and until the final game of most series there was real doubt about who might be moving on
My favorite part of this game is that he had multiple goaltends in addition to the 5 blocks. Just refused to lose.
An out of body experience watching this game.
Pretty sure the first play of the game was a giannis block before he came down and also scored the first points of the game.
Legendary stuff. Go and get it.
One of the most insane individual finals runs I’ve seen.
I WAS having a good 4th…
Ya’ll already forget?
Also hit like 17 free throws after getting trashed all season for taking too long at the line and shooting a low percentage
Chik Filet 50 piece (and I’m vegan)
Gotta be the best close out performance ever right?
There might be better finals performances overall (MJ comes to mind naturally) but that shit was insane.
The whole Suns team was BBQ chicken for Giannis
why is this in my feed
The definition of locked-in. He wanted that chip so bad.
And 17-19 from the line. He was absolutely locked in that evening
Sometimes I still can’t believe I got to experience this (and parts irl) as a millennial Bucks fan (1989-).
mannn, i remember exactly when this happened.
i was in a movie theater area where they played the game on the big screen.
was my bit of joy before hitting deployment. 😮💨
17/19 from the ft line is probably the craziest part
Feel like he’s gonna be at least a top ten player in the league for another five years at least. Maybe top five.
That would be 12-13 years as a top 5-10 player in the league? That’s a crazy long run. He hasn’t showed many signs of slowing down.
Only Bron and KD, and maybe Steph (remains to be seen since his real coming-out party was ten years ago) have done that in this era. Giannis is a monster.
Ppl thinking Giannis can’t Lebronto his way deeper into the playoffs in the super weak east are underestimating what he can do with a young roster
He’s him
Modern Shaq, just can’t stop him.
This was some real Disney Movie shit. Guy struggles from the free throw line for the last 2 years, then when it’s time to clinch the championship he drains 17 of 19.
