Minnesota Wild Sign Mark Liwiski to AHL Contract!! Jets Fan Reaction!!
move watch. Good morning. Um, so continuing the AHL signings, uh, officially the Manito Moose have lost uh, Mark Lewis to the Iowa Wild. Mark Lewis had played the last two years in the Winnipeg Jets in the Manto Moose organization. uh in 2023 2024 he had two points in seven games while tallying 25 points in 54 games in the ECHL. He also racked up an incredible 310 penalty minutes. Um last year for the Madison Moose, he only played in the AHL despite not being a very offensiveminded forward. Um he had seven points in 43 games and he had 144 penalty minutes which is absurd. Um in terms of what he offers, he’s a grindy he’s a grindy player through and through but also he’s kind of an enforcer in the AHL. There’s a lot more enforcers that are openly welcome there um in terms of protecting rookies and um just sticking up for a team in general. It’s a lot more common than the NHL. So Mark Lewis will definitely be able to find games this year. I don’t think it’ll be as many as he’s maybe expecting at first, but in terms of his style of play, it definitely fits an AHL style of play or the ECHL cuz he could find himself there as well too cuz it’s not completely uncommon. So Mark Lewis is the first Moose to sign uh with another AHL team. And uh we’ll keep you updated as it goes on. Thanks for watching. Come on, Nicole. The throw, gets around, and he shoots and scores. What a goal from Nicolers.
