What’s going on, guys? This is Costy with Pic Dogs. I’m here with Jay Yang. I hope everybody had a very safe and enjoyable holiday. Everybody, I’m sure you guys all barbecued. You guys all hung out with friends and saw some fireworks, but we want to keep bringing you fireworks and the Yangle continues to represent. Jay, what’s going on, brother?
Hey, Kia. Uh, hope you had great weekend. Having a great weekend. This is Saturday morning. I’m again ready for the Yang angle. So, let’s do this.
Let’s get right into it. So, we’re going to be breaking down the game. Uh, Detroit versus Cleveland. Right now, the listed pitchers are Mai and Allen. Detroit is a 132 favorite on the road and the overunder is 8 and a half. Um, so give everybody the angle and the prediction on this game. Yes. So, Detroit versus Cleveland, Mice versus Ellen. So, Mice enters with a 2.86 86 RA, but he’s allowed three allowed three plus runs in two of his last four starts and doesn’t miss any bats. That means he just has 69 strikeouts in 85 innings pitched. Uh Cleveland offense has been struggling and they’ve been but they’ve seen my before and could score a few runs I think. On the other side, Ellen holds a 4.27 27 RA and with a 1.38 whip. He has been scored four plus runs in three of his last five outings. So, you know, Detroit’s hot that their offense is explosive, averaging 6.2 runs per game over the past week with warm weather. Uh both bullpens are thin. I think this is a spot for an over. So, I’m taking eight and a half runs on this matchup.
Got it. So again, make sure it’s Mai’s and Allen as your listed pitchers and take the over eight and a half runs. Um there’s been a couple videos that we’ve done where pitchers were pulled. We don’t play the game once the pitcher is pulled in terms of the analytics behind it. We may completely go off the game because everything is based on the starting pitcher and if that is off, it changes everything. So guys, make sure your pitchers are listed um when you make the bet. Now, both of these pitchers um you know, tend to get some run support uh behind their outings. Is that something that you really put a lot of emphasis on or just a little bit of emphasis? How do you value that?
Yeah, so I uh studied mice in this case. So I you know the pitchers who consistently get strong run support. I think this year’s star is mice. So, you know, I don’t want to rely on heavily on this offensive support strength, but I think this one I think we we should take consider in our consideration. So, when Mice plays, Detroit plays and hits much better. The Tigers typically score seven to 10 runs when Mice plays and often deliver multih homer nights. So, versus Rockies, they had 10 runs versus Pirates, seven runs. Versus Twins, 10 runs. and various games, four runs plus Homer Knight. So, I think this will continue on this matchup at least. And I think we have Logan Allen on the mound. I think he’s too shaky to trust. Uh he will at we we will um at least see four plus runs from Tiger size, then the probability of an over increases. And Demise erra has always played a trap for under game. So, I think this fits perfectly on in terms of the run supports on mice. Well, love the angle. I love the yangle. Sorry, I I have to be very uh you know, I have to be correct here when when I when I say these things. The yangle matters, guys.
