  1. His quality of contact leads me to believe he’ll have a couple of random really good offensive years.

  2. Yeah and he hated that swing there’s no one else trying harder to make the red sox win than the players keyboard all you want dude you could never step in the shoes let alone the role just a bunch of punk kids who hit their ceiling punching “down” cut the doom shit out I’m god damned proud of this team wake up people

  3. Oh no!!!!!!!!! Anyway. Nobody cares. His bat’s waking up and he’s an outstanding defender . In fact it’s so good, that he should be allowed some leeway in developing.

  4. If we get the best offensive years of JBJ out of him I’ll be ecstatic.

  5. If he can get that chase rate into the top 95%, he’s a MVP candidate.

  6. He walked 15 times in 571 PA last year and already has 15 in 311 PA this year. That is a major improvement and his K rate is also down considerably this season. The guy is still developing, and he’s already a league-average hitter and a plus-plus defender.

The Red Sox have problems, but Ceddanne Rafaela is not one of them. He is a solution, regardless of whether he still swings at too many bad pitches.

  7. As long as he can play good CF every day he can hit below .200 for all I care
