1st Blue Surin Egor Surin gets the opening goal for Team Blue. Initial shot was stopped by Milota but he powered through the traffic in front, got the rebound, buried it on the backhand. Video
2nd Gold Martin Brady Martin ties it for Team Gold. Matthew Wood with a nice rush, gets it to Martin, who doesn’t get the first chance, but buries a backhand rebound on the 2nd chance. Video
2nd Gold Wood Matthew Wood scores on a sick play. Stickhandles to the middle, fakes a deke, wrist shot that beats goalie over the blocker. Video
2nd Blue Gibson Andrew Gibson ties it for team blue, but Cole O’Hara made that play with a speed rush to the outside. Gibson cleaned up rebound on the backside. Video

  2. Molendyk impressed me last year with his skating and he’s doing it again. Ryker Lee is also really impressive with the moves. This is exciting!

  3. I could watch Molendyk skate all day. He needs to give Skjei lessons.

    ETA: I also love Surin. He is going to be a menace. I also thought Martin was a bit bigger than he is, but I think he’s going to fit in just fine here.

  4. I’m not sure if it’s just because he’s not skating right next to nhlers, but Matthew wood’s skating looks like it’s improved.
