He wasnt talking shit on us so I respect that. He was just telling us what we already knew. He also could’ve acted like a diva during the season but didn’t.
Once we fully benched this guy the defense was infinitely better. Undersized sack chaser who couldn’t adjust to the scheme. Won a Super Bowl. At least I give him props for not making a public distraction mid season

Being on a team that just one the Super Bowl while you were benched basically makes it impossible to have any argument people will take seriously and I think he knows that. It’s better if he just moves on and keeps his head high

I think what happened is we all found out you either are a one year wonder or an extremely one scheme pass rusher that you couldn’t even contribute to a superbowl team so much you got benched for a just recovered 30+ year old BG and a “developmental piece” Hunt. Not the worst he could have said, but a “I just want to focus on my current team” would make more sense to say imo.

Huff wasn’t talking trash, just said it didn’t work out and he knew it early. I don’t have any hate. Howie wanted a Reddick clone, but Vic needs OLBs that can set the edge and stop the run. Huff could have handled this situation ALOT worse.
