I’ve been saying they’re a sleeper ever since Russ signed with them, but that’s not what they’re saying in this clip. Brou is saying they’re not a sleeper, Nick is trying to hedge his bets so Russ doesn’t humiliate him again, and Wildes is talking about “vibes”. Somehow all three of them managed to get it wrong lol.
They’re developing their offense and their defense is quite good as it stands. They’re not the best, but that’s because they’re starting their rebuild over. They probably won’t win an SB or even get to the playoffs but that’s mostly because they just need more time to get there.
Offseason hype train full steam ahead.
Next stop – actually playing football games
The best outcome of this season is the team looking more competent despite not winning much. The schedule is brutal even if some of the teams aren’t as good as last season and overall roster isn’t there yet. Super bonus (and may be the only thing to save Daboll) is Dart gets playing time and looks really good. I expect another 4 or 5 win season, I’d be impressed if they get 7 or 8.

I always go into every season optimistic then each loss takes away from my humanity.
But realistically I’m more optimistic because why not

Not a Giants fan but very tuned in to NFL and I wouldn’t be surprised if they win 6-8… That should be just the start if Dart is legit. Theyve drafted well and hopefully the O Line is improved.

I think we’ll be better defensively but can this offense move the ball? We have one elite weapon and not much else.
I really wish we didn’t have such a devastating schedule this year otherwise I’d believe it.
Sleeper like put me to sleep … maybe. They’re a new head coach and GM away from doing anything.
If our offense can be somewhere in the top 25 our defense will be in the top 10.
I really believe it’s possible
I think any other season the changes we’ve made would make us a surprise and get maybe 7 wins (which would be a vast improvement) but the schedule is so hard it won’t be the case, we’ll probably look better on field but still have a bad record like last season.
