The most forgotten miracle in franchise history, granted we were 1-7 but the play completed an upset of the 4-2 Patriots.
While we’re at it, shout out to Al Denson, He was a 2x Pro Bowl and 3x 2nd Team All-Pro receiver, him and Lionel Taylor dominated with some rough quarterback play in that late 60s era.
How have I never seen this before?
Max Choboian throwing like he’s playing H-O-R-S-E out there: “off the safety’s chest, into Al’s hands, touchdown.”
It’s so fascinating watching old football clips. The skill level was so different back then.
This is the OG “Stockley down the sidelines” play
