  3. Does anyone think they’re holding Nado as a “wait and watch” preservation?

    If the Cards lose this series (esp if sweep) and one of the next two it’d be very unlikely to get a playoff spot unless the FO actually turns into buy mode.

    I think they’d rather give up this season and get tradeable players off the books

  7. If you really deep it Donovan is a far better player than PCA and yet he gets 1/10th of the national exposure.

  13. I doubt we do anything at the deadline but we need a legit bat behind Donnie in the future

  14. Cardinals just aren’t in the same stage of the competitive cycle as the Cubs. Star caliber offensive talent is the difference. We’ll have it again someday (hopefully soon).

  16. Outside of a few games here and there, Winn has been really bad the last month at the plate

  27. First we refuse to sell pieces in the offseason only to watch their value crater in-season, now the Pirates and Cubs get to knock us out of the division race over a holiday weekend.
