I hope Bloom comes in and changes the trajectory of this organization like Jed did when he took over the Cubs. I hate him but damn they got a good freaking front office.
Donny pls do something
Does anyone think they’re holding Nado as a “wait and watch” preservation?
If the Cards lose this series (esp if sweep) and one of the next two it’d be very unlikely to get a playoff spot unless the FO actually turns into buy mode.
I think they’d rather give up this season and get tradeable players off the books
……….

Donny rocking the Bret the hitman harts
Oh nowwww that’s a strike…
If you really deep it Donovan is a far better player than PCA and yet he gets 1/10th of the national exposure.

Fuuuuuuck
Damn this team …
I doubt we do anything at the deadline but we need a legit bat behind Donnie in the future
Cardinals just aren’t in the same stage of the competitive cycle as the Cubs. Star caliber offensive talent is the difference. We’ll have it again someday (hopefully soon).
Should’ve went with Matz to begin with.
Outside of a few games here and there, Winn has been really bad the last month at the plate
Phil Maton is the only reliever I trust at this point
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHH
Yep…
I just want to cry.
We may never win again.
I won’t be terribly sad to not have to see Mikolas, Fedde, Matz next year
PAIN
Our team isn’t very good right now and we likely miss the playoffs. It’s ok to be disappointed, even a little angry, but where some of you lose me is when you start with the whiny bitch talk about how “the future of this organization is dead! We’re going to lose for the next 5,000 years!!”
Like goddamn chill. It’s going to be ok.
Perhaps a distraction is needed: https://www.mlb.com/cut4/steven-matz-has-a-long-island-area-sandwich-named-after-him/c-133671254
We need damn near a whole new pitching staff. I miss being excited about this team.
First we refuse to sell pieces in the offseason only to watch their value crater in-season, now the Pirates and Cubs get to knock us out of the division race over a holiday weekend.
Hope Johnny Mo is enjoying the farewell tour!!
Fuck Carson Kelly and fuck Steven Matz
Where was that when Carson Kelly was a Cardinal?
WTF happened to Carson Kelly?
Of course of course….
Pending some luck devil magic cubs forfeiting I don’t think we are coming back
