He is not headed towards arbitration.
This isn’t a bad thing…puts more pressure on the player and team to negotiate and get a deal done. Both parties don’t want to get to the arbitration date
This is very normal. I’d be more worried if it actually reached arbitration
How long is it going to take for fans to realize that filing for arbitration is not a bad thing, and is actually just standard practice
only fear here is that this means a bridge contract vs long term contract
