  1. Horrible luck today.

But this team has officially arrived this series (and the cycle is broken).

  2. So many hitters take two pitches down the middle to start the at bat 0-2, then strike out on a slider two feet off the plate. I don’t get it.

  3. Zero situational hitting. Zero bench depth. Detmers and Jansen wasted in another loss. Really hope they avoid getting swept tomorrow.

  4. Fans blaming Zeferjahn apparently didn’t watch the Angels offense today — or even just in the 10th and 11th.

  5. I know this is all really frustrating, but also, like… this is kinda who we thought this team was, right? They’re a ~.500 team playing like a ~.500 team right now.

We were buoyed for a while by an unsustainable record in 1-run games. These last two days have been a regression toward the mean.

  6. We NEED to sell at the deadline. It’s clear this team is not a contender. We finally have some promising young pieces, let’s keep building a complete product for the future.

  7. They pitched really well in the late innings. Painting the corners and what not.

Fuck this series! See you guys tomorrow

  9. Big kudos for Zeferjahn and Trout for not doing squat again or pulling their weight. The one positive thing about this pathetic loss is that Jo and Reid continue to be on the up and up and prove the doubter wrong. Also Nolan Schanuel get ready to learn Chinese

  10. Last two series we have seen so many great fielding plays by great fielders. Like Olson, Harris Jr, Riley, Barger, Clement.

And then on the other side Angels fielders just doesnt get the job done. Makes you wonder were the Angels would be in the standings if they had more quality fielders besides Neto 🙁

  11. Fuck arte. This team has had 0 depth for a decade. Soler is awful, tired of watching ohoppe, situational hitting is no existent and this team is helpless. Give up any hope of getting into the playoffs. They can’t beat good teams.

My goodness we get to watch Lamonte Wade Jr come in to pinch hit. What have we done to deserve this? LMAO

    WHEN DOES THE MISERY END

  12. It just sucks. Our season really is defined by the next 8 games, because I don’t see the point in making a big push if we’re not above .500 and I doubt the front office would either

  13. I didn’t see the play but was this Schanuel not knowing how to play defense AGAIN????

  14. I wonder if there’s going to be a fight in the locker room we need this team to tank so we actually sell at the deadline and get some good prospects this year.

  15. Has there been any bad blood between us and the Jays? They always seem extra motivated against us.

  16. Man why can’t people be grateful to see the Angels competing and having a group of players that can potentially turn this team into something more in the future. It’s not like they’re failing to meet expectations. Going off what I seen most ppl saying going into the season, they’re exceeding expectations.

  17. Anyhoo, looks like the Cubs need starting pitching and right-handed hitting. Any way we could get Owen Cassie? Ward and Hendricks get ready to learn “Go Cubs Go.”
