Yankees vs. Mets Game Highlights (7/6/25) | MLB Highlights

For the final time in the regular season. The Subway Series takes center stage on the sunshine of Flushing Queens. The New York Mets go for the sweep today against the New York Yankees. The Mets who have patched their pitching together all weekend will do the same thing today. First out will be right hander chris Devinsky and Then we may see Brandon Wandell and a lot of people after that 309th game for Chris in his career and is a start one out and nobody on. Here’s Trent Grisham one for six in this series. It into left field. That is going to be a base hit cut off in the gap nicely by Marte and that holds Grisham to a single good play byMart-n. Mart-n. Here’s aaron Judge two for eight in the series for judges lost 20 one lifted in the air to right field playable for SOTO puts it away. Two out back to first keeps judging the ballpark two away. Now, Stanton and he rips one out to left field coming toward the line is Marte and he gets there to make the catch and that retires the side. Devinsky puts up A zero in the first max Fried has been the stopper for the Yankees all year. They have lost six in a row. They need him in a big way today. You see his numbers after a loss. The Yankees are 9 to 2 in those 11, 8 to 1 pitching to a 1 to 3 to 4, er, a five hits in 23 career at bats against Fried and it’s bunnett third base side Fried off the mound in a hurry, but he can’t field the ball. It goes off the edge of his glove and Marte got what probably will be a bunt, single Fried, a three time gold glove winner could not handle that. Lindor on this home stand hitting a very quiet three 116. This is the guy who has given him a lot of trouble. He’s 3 to 31 against free down on strikes, hold your breath. You don’t want to see a big inning coming and you know, a big pitch right there, there goes, the pitch is low. Wells throw to second is not in time and was able to stay on the bag to the satisfaction of Mike Ebook starting his fifth stolen base of the year runner in scoring position for soto big pitch. Here it is Reagan ball swing on to center playable over to his left, she with his glove and gets it back in. Quickly hits the cut off man. Marte holds at second two down here in the first innings. Marte over to third runner at third with two out. Alonso already has more hits with men on base this year than he had all last year. 20th pitch of the inning coming from free going on broken bat. Looper. Center field. Here comes Grisham needs to play for him. They stop by max free to get out of that first innings runner at third. Chrissy did his job shutting the Yankees out for two innings. Now, Keith, the Zack Pop era begins for the Mets. He’s out there making his Mets debut. The right hander sees 89 and one. His first batter is going to be Austin Wells, the catcher for the Yankees hit 2 1512 homers and 46 runs batted in fly ball. So back turning a long home run into the second deck Yankees one that’s a second home run of the series and he’s starting to swing the bat a little bit better. And you remember flash last year , he was really, really good in the second half offensively. He can put that together again this year because he came up a big part of the offense in the second half. They hit his second today and there’s a run on board here for aaron Judge, not judge and pop seen him before. Judge is zero for three against him with two strikeouts out to short has got, it makes the flip to retire the side pop bounces back after giving up the home run to Wells 1 to 0. Yankees in the third straight retired by freed after Marte’s leadoff infield hit in the first and Marte will get his second turn with flare out to right coming on as Judge will drop in for a base hit and Marte is 2 to 2 starling who had two hits yesterday has two more hits today out of the leadoff spot that time, just a little dunker in front of judge chasing one doesn’t go quickly and here’s a pop up playable for Goldsmith foul territory sunglasses on first base coaches box makes the play and that will do it for the Mets stab by freed pop. Stays out there for the fourth to face john Carlo Stanton Danton flied out to left his first time up. That one ripped to left field. It is a base hit, it will go into the corner playing it out there is Marte Ston going for two. The throw is not in time double for Giancarlo Stanton Bellinger has been the biggest pain for the Mets in the five games so far this year, 10 RBS in the five games that one looped into right field. It is a base hit Stanton had to hold up and he will advance to third, a base hit for Bellinger. Now has a 12 game hitting streak and the Yankees have runners on the corners and nobody else. Anthony Volpe 1st and 3rd. Nobody out. That’s the back of double play depth. He struck out his first time up ground ball grabbed there by mcneil. There’s one, no return throw scoring is Stanton an RB I and a fielder’s choice for Volpe and the Yankees have a 2 to 0 lead to put the ball in play trying to find that hole on the right side. Didn’t get through it. No way you’re going to double up Anthony Volpe has the stolen base picks up his 10th steal of the year. Chops slowly. Third base Vientos charges bare hands, fires not in time. The infield single for the third hit of the inning for the Yankees. That’s going to be all for Zack Popp last pitch in the first game of the double header. Thursday, three innings, one run , three hits. He is the B guy today. So they bring him in with one out here in the fourth inning runners on 1st and 3rd and the lefty rolls at the plate swing on, put in place the right side. Mcneil goes to second for the force out runner scores. It’s 3 to 0. The Yankees as they get the force out there. The Yankees scratching out a pair of runs on Diller’s choices in this inning. Goldschmidt has his first hit of the series predictably against a left handed pitcher and now you pitch the judge with a runner at third one out. I would not judge has already tied a Yankee club record for intentional walks in the season going on and driven to the gap left center. The captain rings the bell a two run shot and he makes the Mets pay for pitching to him. It’s five Yankees. You’re uncertain if you’re going to get a pitch because they’re probably going to pitch around you where they didn’t. And I’m sure that Mendoza is going to have to answer to this after the game. But a good big two run homer for aaron Judge, that’s a huge play right here, giving him something to hit. He’s able to put it in the seats nine to set the table for the top of the order. Sometimes against these good pitchers, you get one shot. This is their shot right here because of mcneil and Ser with the base hits to get on starting 2 to 2, a couple of soft hits that here with two on and one out swing and a fly ball to center fairly deep chasing Grisham way back. It’s over his head, bounces up off the wall. The runners had the hole mcneil will just go to third stop there. Senger to second and stop there. And Marte is held to a long single but with the Mets down five, no sense taking any chances with Lando and SOTO the next two scheduled hitters. Well, it loads the bases, three straight hits for the Mets and land bats with the bases full, the grand slam has been a great weapon for the Mets on this home stand and he hits one up the middle. The deal is in here comes plates a pair and the Mets get right back in and it’s now 5 to 24 straight hits against Max Fried and the Mets crack the scoreboard in the fifth after Fried kept the Mets completely at bay for the first four and a third. They have strung together four straight hits and it gets juan Soto to the plate as the tying run in the 5 to 2 game swing and a miss. He got him on a pitch down and away beautifully done by Max Fried his fifth strikeout two down. Fifth inning. That’s a big strikeout. He’s got one more to get now, two out and two on for Alonso who hit two home runs yesterday. Today, he’s flied out and grounded out two home runs in his career against free one at the plate in a 5 to 2 game right field. Judge makes the play that will do it but the Mets put a two spot on the board and drive up Fried’s pitch count. Max Fried 97 pitches back out there and the first pitch inside he hit him with his 98th pitch of the game. A sweeper Nimmo has been hit. Nicky Nimmo with the pitch. Fried is out after five innings plus mauricio and now Baty with back to back pinch hit singles. The Mets have the bases loaded. Nobody out. Jeff mcneil coming up the Yankee bullpen over the last eight games has an, er, a of 10.33. That’s why it was imperative for the Mets to get Fried out of this game as early as they could. So now mcneil hit the big home run on Friday night, nine runs on base and nobody out. Jeff golfs one on the ground with a run is in and everybody is safe for a second and Bailey gets back, overran it but they would have had the flipped to who did not catch the ball and now it’s 5 to 3 and the bases remain loaded with nobody out. Here’s singer. The one thing the Mets don’t want here is the double play first pitch swinging. There’s the ground ball to short volt up with it. Throws the second one. Leme will throw to first. It’s picked by goldschmidt and there’s the double play. It does add a run but that’s two big outs. The Yankees get a as on a bad throw by the tying run at third with two outs. Mets down by a run. Here’s Marte who is three for three in the right field coming on. Judge dives and makes the play and saves the lead by making the play and taking a hit away from Marte. But the Mets creep closer. The Yankees 1st and 3rd with nobody out. The Mets got some breaks last inning. And now they seem to have reversed the table. The Yankees right here, get a break. The infield back. Here’s judge judge with a two run homer. His last time up in a spot where the Mets could have chosen to walk him. Not much of a choice here with 1st and 3rd and nobody out high fly ball deep left center Marte back. He’s on the track. He makes the play in front of the wall. Tagging is goldschmidt. He’ll score easily. Judge just missed another home run. Settles for a sacrifice fly. His third RB I of the day and the Yankees have their sixth run at six four is hit by the pitch. Second met to be hit today the 57th this year. So that gets soto to the plate as the tying run. Soto is 0 to 3 today. Free struck him out twice and we went to left field and makes a brilliant shoestring catch. So no Bellinger with a shoestring grab and he doubles first. Oh my word. What a play to Bellinger with the play of the game so far for the Yankees. I mean, these are the kind of plays that can win a game that is as good a play as you’re ever going to see from an outfielder. What a big play, you can’t emphasize enough how that was. Mauricio continues to do a tremendous job in this series. That’s his fourth hit in the three game gets the tying run to bat with Baty. Baty had a pitch and single in the sixth inning. Grounded to first. What a play by Goldschmidt tags mauricio steps on first, a sparkling defensive play by Paul Goldschmidt. The last two innings. I’ve seen some of the better double plays you’ll ever see in the game of baseball. The second straight inning, the Yankees have turned a double play with a gold glover making the play. Williams Yankee career got off to a rough start but he’s been much better lately. He’s right at the last 21 appearances scoreless in 18 of them. That’s a lot. Turan pinch hitting for Hayden Sanger leading off in the bottom of the ninth, the 0 to 1 to takes out another changeup. Did he call it a strike? Very late call? A strike call from john Bacon that draws carlos Mendoza’s Ire Bacon telling that’s enough in there. Strike three called a changeup. And I’m telling you that looked even further down and away than the previous pitch that are hot about. Here comes, he’s going to get himself. He was hot enough about the second strike. Once he called the third strike , there was no way he was going to stick around outside and that one was, here’s Marte with one out, takes a fastball right knee , that right knee as he takes the pitch, he just fired it just a bit and just twisted a bit. I don’t have no idea. Groundball takes his time. Marte is jogging to first as that leg is bothering him and the Mets are down to their final out. Now comes down to Lindor and on deck is Juan Soto. And the pitch, did he go around? Yes, he did ballgame over and the Yankees take the final game of this three game set 6 to 5. Williams works a 123 bottom of the ninth and juan Soto ends the game on deck.

  1. Tommorow it's gonna be the Yankees vs the Mariners, Cal Raleigh 35 HRs vs Aaron Judge 33 HRs, Cal Raleigh should be the MVP in the AL, he's playing the most important position, and could be the first catcher to hit 50 home runs (he's on pace for 60) playing with the Mariners who has nobody, Judge is protected by all star players, Yankees have 4 mvp's in their lineup.

  2. 法官打擊四冠王的開始
    60轟(33轟)
    MVP
