1. Wow they actually did something reasonable. Probably still too high in terms of AAV for a tiny guard that doesn’t really shoot though.

2. Learned from Jevon Carter’s shitty ass 3 yr 20M deal with a player option. Can’t even hate that contract given Carter was solid for Milwaukee at the time but jeez does it suck today. Dude is buns

3. Tre is perfect backup PG, he also could play in start5, good deal for Bulls.

4. I don’t care what anyone says, this FO is awesome. 

   That team option puts Tre on the same timeline as Okoro, Smith, and Philips. 

   Summer of 2027, either Giddey and Matas are working out as the nucleus of a contender, or they aren’t. 

   If yes, then we get another year of our sugar rush scoring off the bench for what will be considered a very cheap contract at that point. 

   If no, we let the role players walk, and begin again. 

5. Well this pretty much solidified him as PG2.

   I hope that means they see AYO as more of a SG2.

   Now where does this leave Dalen Terry?

   Is he trying out for PG3 or SG3 or SF3?
