Hope everyone’s doing well. We got the Arizona Diamondbacks headed into San Diego to play the Padres’s. Uh both these games do have a or both these teams do have a game on Sunday night. I’m recording this before both those games happen. Uh the Dbacks are finishing up their series against the Royals and then the Padres’s are playing the the Rangers. Is that Sunday night baseball? Let me see. No, it’s not. Giants athletics is Sunday night baseball. So, like I said, both these teams will be playing on Sunday and then San Diego will be staying home whereas the Dbacks will be rolling in, flying into Southern California for this one. Man, both these teams, I just don’t love how they look right now. to be perfectly honest with you, you know, the Diamondbacks just aren’t really in good form. It seems like they’ve lost three of their or they’ve they’ve only won three of their last 10 games. We saw them get swept by a Marlins team. They lost game one of this series against the Royals. We’ll see how they finish it out, but they just don’t really seem like they’re in the best form. Whereas the Padres’s kind of the same, a little bit better, five and five in their last 10, but saw them lose the series against the Phillies. We saw them lose the series against the Reds, and then they so far have split this series against the Rangers. Um, so I still think these are two two more of the talented teams in the league, but it’s not in the best form right now. We will see. So on on the mound, it looks like we got Zag Allen for Arizona and Nick Paveta on the mound for the Padres’s. Believe it or not, man, Nick Paveta has been a much more competent starter than Zack Gallon this season. Zack Allen just hasn’t looked good. Um, he’s coming off one of his best starts of the season, don’t get me wrong, only allowing one earn run, 10 strikeouts through seven innings against the the Giants. But even with that start, he still has an erra of a 623 over his last five starts. And that’s including a start where where he only allowed one ear and runs. So that’s tough, man. Um he’s given up at he’s given up four or more runs in four of his last five starts. I do not like how Zack Allen has looked this season. And then Nick Pavet has kind of been balling. Um he’s been just very consistent. Don’t get me wrong, there’s been some spots where he’s gotten hit up a bit, but he really hasn’t gotten blown up much in uh he really hasn’t got blown up much in in a lot of these starts. So, look, man, I’m going to give the edge to Nick Paveta on the start uh on the on the mound when it comes to a starting pitching perspective. And then you got to give the edge to this Padres’s bullpen. I mean, the Diamondbacks still have one of the worst bullpens in the league. They cannot be trusted. So, this is a game where even though the Diamondbacks may be up early, don’t trust it. Don’t don’t get too comfortable if you got a Diamondback ticket because uh once that bullpin gets activated, it is the Wild Wild West for the Diamondbacks. So guys, I’m going to be on the Padres’s. Not my favorite game. Not my favorite game on the board, but um if I had to make a pick in this one, I would lean Padres’s. Um let’s let’s keep fading Zack Allen. One start, one good start isn’t enough for me to just hop on the Zack Allen train. It’s not. So, I’m going be on the Padres’s. I appreciate you guys watching this. Drop a like.
