Asante Samuel Sr rips Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel – says Miami Dolphins have no leadership
We haven’t gone into this today and I know there’s a big heat trade. We’re popping funky Buddhas for Norman Powell, but Asante Samuel had some choice words about the Miami Dolphins front office and and coaching just in general how the Dolphins are being run right now. Asante Samuel, senior. Senior, not junior. Correct. Yeah. The the Super Bowl two-time Super Bowl champion. Uh but the reason why the Dolphins come up is because his son, I believe, is a free agent. Um, there was some talk that the Dolphins were interested. Well, probably not anymore because Asante Samuel senior torched Chris Greer torched Mike McDaniel. He said they don’t know what the hell they’re doing essentially. He said they get they get pushed around. He said that he said Chris Greer is a pushover and Mike McDaniel’s a pushover. I mean, use those words and and said that they they don’t stand up to the athletes and they’re just it’s Yeah, he he torched them. I’m I’m I’m I’m friends with Senior and Z. Little Zot can play ball now. He’s He’s a great He was injured last year. He can play football. I would love for him to be a Dolphin, but Zot’s going to say exactly how he feels. And I think he went too far saying a pushover is going to get take advantage of by players and other administrators and all that stuff. But I said it and Omar Kelly tweeted, we talked about it last week when Omar tweeted something about me saying that they’re a graceful and pleasant team. It was saying that like he was like Crowder saying they’re soft, using cutesy words. I soft is a is a phrase that makes a lot of athletes mad because it’s like I’m questioning their manhood. I’m not questioning anybody’s manhood as a human. your approach to the football the world is not looked at as tough. It’s not looked at like the Eagles and the Lions and like just those two examples. Can you say the Dolphins are in that realm of the Eagles and the Lions? Cuz that is but it’s Sunday Samuel saying because of Mike McDaniel and Chris Greer. He’s not talking about the players. He’s saying these guys are a pushover who are running the organization. He he used the Jaylen Ramsay trade that that’s really what the basis of the conversation was. He said they had no reason to trade for Jaylen Ramsay. He said that there’s no leadership in the Dolphins organization. McDaniel’s a pushover with star athletes. Chris Greer, he says, has no backbone. These guys over here, the Dolphins, they’re running the team like a little league team. No one can stand up to the players. They’re terrified of their own players. They have no control over their players. And that’s a that’s a damning statement. And I would honestly tell you that Asanti Samuel Jr. senior, the older one, he knows a lot of these guys just like I do. I think we all kind of know that though after last season after all the stuff that came out like I mean I think that’s where the whole trading John Smith and drawing a line in the sand and trying to redefine what the organization is and does um is a calculated effort to try to regain control of a situation that they had lost control. the the Nick Serriani going into the stands and cussing out fans. The Dan Campbell with the kneecap stuff that we laugh about, but like he really tells his players bite their kneecap off and when they fall down bite their ass cheek. Like Mike McDaniel doesn’t coach that way. No, Chris Greer doesn’t GM that way. He doesn’t want I say it’s funny. I just had a conversation. They were like, “Yeah, the new athletes, you know, they’re different and all.” I say you can be different eccentric. It’s called alt. We talked about alt last week too. Hawk, it’s a new play. It’s a new sector of the community called alt. And I’m getting used to it. I understand what it is. You need some You need some dudes that’ll go to jail and not have a problem with it on your team. We don’t have no no monsters. We don’t recruit monsters. We don’t want monsters. And I think that’s a problem cuz I was a monster. So, I think you need some crowders on your team sooner or later. Well, I think you need though control, organizational control. I think that’s more of the discussion and and I really do believe that Mike McDaniel came in three years ago, four years ago with a mindset of players know what to do. Players know what’s best for them. I’m gonna give them the best tools by running creative offenses and being the best coach that I can be, but I’m not going to coach grown men. I’m not going to set rules for grown men if they think it’s appropriate. I’m And again, this I have no knowledge of anything. This is my take. Yes. I’m not going to start finding people if they’re late to meetings or I’m not going to hit them where it hurts because in the end, all we want to do is win. and adults will act like adults. And I think after three seasons, there’s been a little bit of a shift in that attitude because they kind of realized, you know what, we may have been taken advantage of or pushed around like Asante Samuel was saying, like maybe we have been. And so, no, we’re not going to give Jonnu Smith a new contract. And oh, Jaylen Ramsay doesn’t want to be here. Okay, bye-bye. You know what I mean? like where it’s just like, yeah, we’re not going to bend over backwards anymore because we just think we’ll be good enough. We have enough talent and I’m a creative enough play caller that we’ll be successful in the end. I think that there I think there’s been a shift, but I think Asante Samuel is kind of saying something that we were all starting to become aware of. Yeah. And it’s the whole it’s the all the adjectives that we’re trying to run around with, but it’s just not toughness. It’s just not leadership. It’s not alpha male type stuff. And that’s what I’m speaking about. You don’t have to have felons on your team, but a a coach that can manage some dudes that really have some crap in them. It shows that he could once you like the Eagle Jaylen Carter. Jaylen Carter is wild. Jaylen Ramsey is an alpha male. You know what I’m talking about with alpha males? like the guys that walk in the room and they’re going to command the room the second they walk in there. I don’t know if Mike McDaniel can deal with a bunch of alpha males in the same room with him. And that’s a problem if you’re a head coach of NFL team because there’s a lot of damn alpha males that play in this league. By the way, there’s a Shams bomb. Kyle Lowry one-year deal to return to the Sixers. Now they’re talking. Big move. Big move. That’s a situation I don’t know what the hell is going to happen in Philly. Like there there who knows, man. There is good enough to be a potential one seed and bad enough to not make the playoffs. Yep. there. I saw a tweet when I was on vacation from Lewis Riddick and this describes the Sixers just as much as he was describing the Dolphins, but he said the Dolphins are a complete unknown. Yeah, they could be really good and they could be a dumpster fire. They you literally cannot peg what the Dolphins are going to be next season. I think there was a a little bit uh in in Lewis Riddick’s assessment of the Dolphins because he said like what like I don’t know what they’re doing what what is the the direction of the Dolphins. There’s a little bit of what he was saying and what Asante Samuel is saying I think as well. I’m not I’m not saying that the two statements are similar but he’s trying to figure out what the hell are what are the Dolphins building? Does anybody know direction? Are they rebuilding? Are they opening their window? Yeah, I get it. Yeah. All right. Uh the Miami Heat, they have officially welcomed Simone Fonteio. They have tweeted out the Italian flag and they said, “Gonna use this emoji a lot more this season.” All right. And an aperal spritz, we hope. The Heat Nation Twitter account responds, “Mama mia.” Uh Norman Powell is the newest member of the Miami Heat. Kyle Anderson and Kevin Love, we bid you a do a ad do.

Dolphins are trash and everyone knows it!
No one respects McNerd
Dolphins WILL NOT be really good!
I said in 2022 and no one believed me. Ross love the yes man mentality. Starts at the top
I think trading Ramsey showed they not letting him push em over! They had enough of his 💩. He hasn’t produced like he getting paid! He was getting cooked last year literally lost us the game vs cardinals. Grier still gotta go
4:03 Lmaooo Crowder spot on, Grier and McDaniels seem to be in the wrong profession. They would make damn good Public defenders 😂
Everyone was so quick to bash Flores because he wasn't with Coddling players and didn't believe in Tua. They were so happy to have a coach that had Tuas back that they didn't care Mcdaniels didn't get any other coaching interviews so no other team thought he would make a good head coach except the dolphins because Ross and Grier knew the could control him and he wouldn't push back on anything they say
If Asante Samuel Jr felt like there was a chance that Miami might take the risk on his neck injury, do you think that his pops would be talking shit?? Or, and I know this is a wild thought, or, the Dolphins already told Jr that they didn’t have any interest in taking a risk on giving him a contract, due to his current neck injury, and pops knows this, and is salty about that? I think it’s pretty obvious what the reality is here. Pops is just salty.
