Lol this is such a load of BS
Go ahead and talk about Kyrie. Let’s hear it. Let’s hear some love for Harden for playing through a hamstring issue while Kyrie was off mumbling about some stupid sht. LeBron and Nash being real quiet here because they’re holding back. No way they believe KD’s spiel.
In hindsight knowing all their personalities now Nash had the all of the biggest high profile All Star headcases (outside of LeBron) to deal with. If you watch the whole thing I tend to believe that Durant just wants to ball above all else – but at least he wants to ball. Dealing with Harden and Irving and then Simmons during that time had to be impossible.
Wonder when/if Nash gets another coaching job offer – I know they joked about it when they launched the podcast but I’m surprised he hasn’t taken another job yet
That year awhen they almost beat the Bucks with KD alone, they had D’Antoni for offense and Ime Udoka for defense. Nash was barely functional as a coach.
Coaches hunt championships too. They were going to get it until Giannis fucked Kyrie’s ankle and someone fucked Harden’s hamstrings.
That Nets team when Harden was traded there put the fear of God into the entire league. Offense was so flawless their 22nd ranked defense didn’t matter.
If COVID doesn’t happen and Kyrie goes awol and Harden doesn’t get hurt, they’d have sleep walked to the title.
Even today, Nash is just a yes man. He knows X’s and O’s but he does not hold players accountable. Too much power giving to players and he lost the team on day 1.
LMAO this mfer lying. Maybe tell fucking Kyrie to stop the bullshitting. Harden was the only one locked in for a chip.
NBA players are so dramatic
I hate that thats the quote you picked from that clip
Absolute clown show. Love KD but he’s so full of shit here. He literally said fire nash or trade me. You can see it on Nash’s face he knows he’s full of shit too.
KD is full of shit. He fully let Kyrie get away with his antvaccine bullshit with zero pushback. Durant is a baller but also a quitter and damn sure not a leader.
I’ve been a Durant fan since he was at Texas. I still am. This take seems a bit weird to me. Steve Nash and Kevon Durant having this talk in front of Lebron James like that wasnt his entire career. And Im not even a Lebron stan. Lebron dealt with shit everywhere. Cleveland twice, Miami and LA. I think this clip shows how great Lebron is. And I think we underestimate all that he covers up. I respect Durant for this conversation and him giving us his opinion on something everyone holds against him. But it still feels weird in a way. Im sure Im thinkin too deep into all of this
The best part of the video is the end when KD says he felt like he and Nash were committed but others weren’t. The title is taken out of context.
Nash looks like me talking to my conservative coworkers
Didnt he give Tsai an ultimatum? Fire nash or trade him?
Just say it was Kyrie’s fault for never buying in and prioritizing himself over the game.
Durant has no accountability at all
KD is so full of shit. He showed zero leadership during his time there.
KD and Doc Rivers should be paired together to form a throwing others under the bus Super Team
The question I want answered the most is why tf is KD wearing a Boston Bruins hat?
I’m shook trying to figure this out…
I noticed something watching this, it’s never Kevin Durants fault. 🤔
Ever had a coworker that has had an issue with every single workplace they ever been employed at and after working with them for awhile you realize that they themselves are the problem and they just don’t know it.
KD *is* that coworker. *He* himself is the problem. He works as a solvent to team chemistry instead of being a “glue guy”. What’s worse is that he’ll never “get it”. It’ll always be someone else’s fault in his mind.
KD is full of bullshit, deflecting and still not taking accountability. He chose Kyrie as his teammate after watching how he tanked the Celtics season (trying to guard Giannis, giving up on defense, taking horrible shots in the playoffs). He forced the Nets to take Deandre Jordan as part of the package. They got Kenny Atkinson fired. Kyrie refused to get vaccinated and couldn’t play half the games. Went to Joe Tsai and said Nash and Marks need to be fired or trade me. The only smart person was Harden getting out of that situation immediately. I’m sure he saw the stupidity around Kyrie.
Why is it so hard for KD to take accountability? Just stupid decision after stupid decision.
You kicked him out. What a fucking bullshit dodge response.
