And it’s going to start here with this matchup between the Los Angeles Angels and the Texas Rangers for the Texas Rangers. It’s Nathan Yavaldi listed as a starter in this one while the Angels will counter with Jose Soraniano. This should actually, I think, be a a decent pitching matchup here as you have, you know, Jose Soraniano who was on a nice run of form, you know, for the most part as of late. And then followed it up after having a rough start at home against the Nationals with seven innings of three hit shutout baseball. If you take out the one start that, you know, was the blowup start for Sorano against the Angels where he gave up eight, pardon me, against the the Nationals, sorry, against uh Washington. Gave up eight runs on nine hits over four innings of work in that start. he would have across his other four starts in his last five start stretch, three starts where he’s gone seven full innings, one start where he’s gone six and two/3. And of those four starts where he went six and two/3s, he’s given up a combined two runs. So just on another level right now and now you take on a Texas Rangers lineup that yeah’s been getting healthier. Yeah, been doing a better job against right-handed pitching in some of their recent games, but they’re still below league average and batting average, hitting 246 in the last two weeks. their their team OPS numbers are just outside the bottom 10. The isolated power numbers are bottom 10, you know. So, I think that Soraniano could have a good start here, you know, against the Rangers team that he’s had some decent results against. This is going to be his first start at Angel Stadium against the Rangers, though. So, it’s worth keeping an eye on. On the other side, though, you got Nathan Yaldi, who has been quality, you know, I think there’s no other word to describe it for this season. and he did have a bit of a bumpy return to the lineup. But then last time out, five innings of two run or excuse me, two hit shutout baseball with five strikeouts. He’s got a 1.75 RA across 77 and a third innings of work this season. And in his last three starts at Angel Stadium, Nathan Yaldi 20 consecutive shutout innings. So I think that you know Yaldi could have a strong start here. I think Soriano could have a good enough outing. I like the under in the first five. I think once the bullpens enter for the game, sort of all bets are off at that point. You have an Angels bullpen that for me has been one of the least trustworthy bullpens in baseball all season long. I’m not buying into their 3.26 ERA over the last seven days and the Texas Rangers. Their bullpen not far off, but again, you also have two offenses that can be wildly inconsistent at times. So, I think the first five is is the way to go here with the under and that’s going to be my free pick.
