The Astros wearing the road grays today taking on the Dodgers in their home whites with the special Fourth of July baby blue caps. First pitch Paradis gets into one deep to left field all the way back and gone. Astros first pitch of the series. It’s one- nothing. How about it? Nothing like a quick start against a rival. Wake these fans up and that dugout up early. Fireworks are usually after sunset for Cam. Okay, now Christian Walker delivers an RBI base hit into right field. Walker, who loves hitting here at Dodger Stadium, makes it a two nothing game. RBI number 40 on the season for Christian [Applause] also had a couple against the A’s during the pandemic playoffs. This ball hit high in the air to left field. Carrying well, looking up is the center fielder. Ps. It’s gone. First regular season home run at Dodger Stadium for José Altou. He has made it a 4-1 Astros lead. And the fans respond by saying Alu. Big swings in the first two swings of the game for Jos Altuve. A double to left center and then a bomb to left center. Tu’s third straight multi-hit game. Already has a double. One-1 pitch is drilled high and deep forget about it. 6-1 Astros. Christian Walker a home run in this building in six consecutive games. Going back to his diamond back day. They probably love him here too. He’s getting a little bit of the Altuve treatment after that bomb. [Applause] Skywalker in flight. early evening delight. In his last six games here, he has eight home runs now and a home run in all six of them. Unbelievable. [Applause] That take any kind of base hit right now. There’s one to the right side. Base hit being waged around Keratini. Here comes the throw by Teascar. Going to be close. Keratini safe. Astros lead seven to one. Pinching RBI single by Cooper Hmel. Little boy Coupe. Good hustle by Victor coming around and picking up that RBI for Cooper. Also, he’s walked two here in this inning. Cam with a line drive base hit. Continues to hit with runners in scoring position. It’s now 8 to one Astros. Cam with RBI number 39 and has a dozen RBI’s in his last eight games. hit him. That’s going to be another RBI. Walker gets hit on an 02 pitch and it’s now 9 to1 Astros as coming down from third is Jake Myers. [Applause] Very quiet. That’s rare when you’ve got the Astros in this ballpark, but they’ve kind of swung the life out of them. Teratini skies one deep to right field. Has he done it twice on this road trip? He has. Second grand slam on the trip for Keratini. The Astros score four and it’s a 13 to1 lead. Getting spoiled on this road trip. It’s my second four olive martini. Victor serving it up. Who doesn’t like a four olive martini? Oh, it’s beautiful. So here’s Jake who singled against Davis earlier in this inning. Goes after this one, sends one down the line. Backhanded by Hernandez. Long throw. It gets by first base. That’ll score another run. Coming in to score is Cooper Hmel to third goes to Bond. [Applause] Alt skies one to right. Back goes Hernandez. Still going back. He’s watching this one go. Altuve adds three to the board to right field. 17-1 Astros with a three-pointer. There’s that guy again, Aluve. Wow. Astros, have yourself a night. Just padding some stats. That one deep enough in right. Estier Ruiz to the track will make the catch and now Walker will try and it’s 18 to1 on the sack fly by Yanner Diaz. [Applause] Major League Baseball is taking over kid growing up and then you finally get an opportunity and I was definitely one of those guys that had to leave about 50 tickets. There we go. Tell that story another day. The Astros won big. We’ll tell that story Sunday. plumber, this was perfection on the 4th of July, 18-1 tonight. Yeah, you couldn’t have drawn it up any better to do this in LA against a rival. There’s a lot of history between these two teams, but the Astros came in early and often and put up some grandiose numbers. 20 hits, 18 runs. There’s a full team effort. And it was also great to see Lance McCuller’s Jr. pitch a great game, too. How about that note at the bottom? The largest loss for the Dodgers in the history of the stadium. Wow. ever.

  1. Not only did the Astros win their World Series in Dodger Stadium but the Astros now own the worse loss for the Dodger in their Stadium 😅

  2. On July 20, 1969, a historic event took place when American Astronauts landed on the moon and the phrases, "Houston, Tranquility Base here, the Eagle has landed", "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind", "Magnificent desolation" were conveyed to NASA – Mission Control in Houston. THE BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN FLAG WAS PLANTED ON THE MOON.

On July 4, 2025, another historic event took place when the Houston "Astro-nauts" pinned the largest defeat on the Dodgers in Dodger stadium history. No better day than America's 249th birthday to pound the Mexican "Cuidad de Los Angeles"… HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the USA from Houston!

By the way, why were there fireworks at that stadium on July 4th… it wasn't the "Diez y Seis de Septiembre". Some weeks ago, weren't these people waving their Mexican flag?

    GO SPACE CITY ASTROnautS!

  3. Dodgers are done! Humiliated, they won’t get over their worst beating. Got to cocky and slapped back to reality. Pitching and defense win Championships. Dodgers don’t have either one. Sorry embarrassed.

  4. I though LMJ was going to get rocked by this lineup after will smiths home run. The fact that they held #1 team in run differential to 1 run w/o Abreu or Hader is insane.

  5. i get dave roberts just throwing his worst as the game is out of reach and he will need bullpen support tonight to support shohei's short start but nonetheless absolutely embarrassing. dodgers will win the next two. Promise you that.

  6. In an away game how would ANY visiting team be able to set up cameras and/ or any equipment to cheat with? I coukd kind of see of they were using Apple Watches or something like that.

  8. I would NEVER throw a HR ball back from the visiting team…….That is a once in a lifetime experience. I would want to meet the batter who hit is, and have him autograph the ball.
