NFL Network’s Adam Rank Said THIS On Detroit Lions Regressing!

With the Dshore Lions off season already happening, things come out that are just ridiculous. And one person that notably comes out with a lot of ridiculous things is NFL Network’s own Adam Rank. Big Chicago Bears fan. I know the Chicago Bears fandom, fan nation, how whatever you want to say, probably love the guy. Says a lot of stupid things when it comes to the Lions. Uh he was just on Twitter yesterday. I think I saw a comment that he was gloating that he predicted the Lions would win a playoff game and lose, but he failed to mention that half the team was dead. So, we have to add context with everything, of course. And Adam rank always comes out with these disrespectful Lions rankings, record predictions, all this stuff. It’s ridiculous. Uh, but I understand he’s a Bears fan, so there has to be some bias to it, I guess. But let’s get to what he said, or not said, but what he did when it comes to the record record prediction. All right. He went through the schedule, predicted a record, and his take is the Lions will miss the playoffs. Simply put, they will miss the playoffs. So, I have the graphic here. I’m going to show you guys, and we can kind of react to some of the games he predicted. This is idiotic. All right. He has the Lions starting, let’s see, one, two, three, four, five wins to five and four it looks like through the first 10 weeks. Is that what it looks like? Five and four. They lose to the Ravens, lose to the Bengals, lose to the Commanders, lose to the Chiefs. So, every contender they see, they lose to apparently. So, they’re five and four. Oh, and they lose again to the Eagles. Can’t beat a contender, I guess. Uh the Giants, they win. I I forget who they play week 13. Can’t remember off the top of my head. Week 14, week 15, they’re 1 and2. And then week 16, 17, 18, they beat the Steelers, lose to the Vikings, and then lose to the Bears. So, they split with the Bears, they split with the Vikings, and I think one of those games I can’t we can’t see is the Packers. So, he has him splitting with the Packers. So, you’re referring to a team, by the way, let me just get this straight. A team that has been dominant in the NFC North under Dan Campbell all of a sudden going to go 500 with a healthy team. Let’s get back to the video. I’m just making sure I’m hearing this correctly. Is that what Adam Rank is basically saying? Do you guys know what Dan Campbell’s record is in the NFC North? Because I’ll tell you that right now. 17-7. He was 6 and0 during the 2024 season. But he goes what? Against the NFC North this year with a better roster. I get the coordinators are new and that would that’s obviously the biggest concern but guys eight and nine is ridiculous like at some point we got to just start being like hey I mean Adam rank you’re on television getting paid to talk football and you come out with this what are we doing I don’t mind someone saying hey man I think they’ll regress a little bit new coordinators like I fine I’ll listen to that but eight and nine that would put him what probably third in the NFC North What? What? I mean, eight and nine could be last in the NFC North. Honestly, it could be. So, it’s ridiculous. Um I I guys like I get it. John Morton, Kelvin Shepard, they’re both unproven. I understand. I do. But the positive thing and the thing I try to look at, although I I am skeptical, of course, and I think everyone should be a little bit. I don’t think it’s going to be as smooth sailing early, but I think throughout the season they’ll be fine. You don’t need John Morton to be Ben Johnson. You need John Morton to be a good coordinator, which I think he can be. That’s it. You don’t need him to be great. What you need is a great defense. You need Calvin Shepard. You need this defense to be top 10, top five, whatever you want to call it, but a Super Bowl level defense. And they have the pieces. They have the pieces. Now, if Adam rank is predicting another injury riddled season, then we can have that conversation. But the reality is, I don’t think he is. This is a healthy Lions team going eight and nine. If they go eight and nine, someone it’s got to fall in the sword. Like we got to start having a conversation about either Jared underperforming, Dan Campbell all of a sudden can’t coach or these coordinators stink or everyone’s hurt. I mean, even the Eagles, guys, look at the Eagles. So, the Eagles had their both their coordinators hired away. Um, and they got new coordinators. They made the Super Bowl, lost their coordinators. They lost in the Super Bowl, then lost their coordinators. Then they regressed, but they started the year 10- one and they, you know, they ended up, I think it was like u I don’t know their exact record, but they were still like 10 plus wins. That’s all you need to know. 10 plus wins with terrible coordinators in which they fired the year prior or the year after. So, it’s like, can coordinators hurt you? Yeah. But will they make you regress from 15 to eight? No. No. Oh, especially if you’re hiring from within, which you know, similar system. It will at least help. So, I think this is ridiculous. Um, it’s and honestly, I hope we get to have Adam Rank on. I mean, I’m going to show the man respect and actually get his opinion on this. Um, but if he watches this, please.
