BREAKING: New York Jets 2025 Training Camp Dates Revealed!

All right, guys. What’s going on? Welcome in. So, the New York Jets just released their training camp dates that are open to the public. Let’s freaking go. Uh, by the way, I’ll leave the um link down below in the description box over to the New York Jets website. Uh, I’m not 100% sure on when they go, you know, when the tickets go on sale here, but there are a couple things I I definitely want to I’m looking at the schedule right here. I wrote it down. There’s there’s a couple things here that stand out. Uh, you know, I I I know it it’s just training camp dates. It is what it is. But I feel like there are a couple differences here. So, to kick things off, Friday, July 25th, 8:30 a.m. Okay, this is an early early practice here, at least to my knowledge. Right? If I think back to the solid era, I want to say most of the practices started at either 10:00, 10:15, 10:30, 10:45 up through like 12ish. So, with Aaron Glenn here, we’re going old school. We’re going right back early in the morning here, 8:30. Uh, and it’s going to be 8:30. Uh, up until I want to say mid August, all these practices are going to be kicking off early in the morning here. So, again, Friday, July 25th, Saturday, uh, July 26th, Thursday, July 31st. So, then moving into next month, we have the green and white practice on August 2nd, which is a Saturday. again early in the morning here. And this is something that we used to see. Uh I actually preferred the old way if I’m being honest. It was the green and white scrimmage game, right? It was kind of a big event. Fans could come out, hang out. It was I remember it was either a couple years or just one season they played over where Ruckers plays. It it just kind of was cool. I remember one year they streamed it as well. So, uh it was just like a lot of fun. It was kind of like all the hype was building to the scrimmage game. see if they, you know, you’d have a couple uh standout performances and whatnot. And uh it was just cool. It was a lot of fun. Coaches were really handh hands-on. And you know, I I also remember talking to a lot of fans that would go and they they would have a great time. It was kind of again this cool event that you could go to on a Saturday night uh where tempers uh energy, it was all kind of ratcheted up a little bit. But moving on, Thursday, August 7th is another practice. Tuesday, August 12th, is a joint practice between the Jets and the Giants. Then we got to wait a full week until the next Tuesday, August 19th, 12:45, that practice is open to the public. And then Wednesday, August 20th, uh, wraps things up. And by that point, you know, it’ll be the end of training camp and then all hands on deck for the start of the season, early September. So, uh, again, link will be listed down below in the description box. Let me know your thoughts on it. Right. Early practices here, 8:30 a.m. One thing I will say, you know, being down in Florida, this was always always talked about whether you’re playing sports or you’re just, you know, having to work outside. When you get a jump on the day, uh, when you can get out there and get your work done before the sun is right over your head at noon, it is extremely beneficial, right? Like I could go on a walk early this morning at 8, 8:30. It’s going to be so much cooler than it would be at 12, at 1:00. Um, so does that maybe play a factor in this whole thing? I don’t know. You you definitely feel like with how hands-on Aaron Glenn is with scouting, with the draft, with free agency, uh, with obviously being the head coach of this football team, uh, I mean, he he it seems like he has his fingerprints on in every single area of this organization. They’re they’re not just randomly picking out times. Yeah, we’ll do this one at 9:00. We’ll do this one at 8:30. We’ll do this one at 12:45. Sure, whatever. seems like there’s a calculated approach, right? He has been Aaron Glenn has been around and worked with some of the greatest coaches of all time of all time, right? And some of these guys have been described as some of the best preparers, some of the best game planners, best managers in NFL history, right? Think Shawn Payeyton, the the game preparation, the game planning, how you go about practicing throughout the week, all the little advantages. uh time slots, when to do things, when to not do things, how to manage, delegate, things like that. Right? Bill Parcels, uh what, you know, Bill Parcels was a little before my era personally, but you know, from what I’ve heard, uh from Jets fans, from my dad, you know, he was on top of everything. Just a great great manager of the game. So, again, I’m excited. Gosh, I really wish I could get up there for one of these training camp practices. I say it every year, but um man, I I don’t know. I’m really hoping to get up to Metife for at least one game this season, but chances are I’ll be at Bucks Jets, which I’m really looking forward to. But uh yeah, anyway, thanks so much for watching. I appreciate you guys. And as always, go Jets. [Music]

  1. Parcells did morning practices. He wanted more quality time over heat exhausted, can't even think, dehydration time. I like the decision.

  2. Yeah moving them early means not as much heat so it's a good idea. I can see the idea around starting practices close to game start time because it acclimates you playing at that time but seeing we're doing that mid august so good.

  3. I remember having practices earlier than that in high school. Plus, double sessions.
I love it… play time is over boys.
AG is taking the bull by the horns, creating a culture and laying down the law.
I'll bet you that there won't be 15 players on the sidelines riding bikes during THIS camp!
