Travis Kelce credits Andy Reid and the coaching staff for turning the Chiefs franchise around in 2013 and said it’s “crazy” that the Chiefs only won 2 games in 2012.

  1. No need to have Crennel on the graphic like that. Nothing but respect for him.

  2. Amazing the impact culture and coach can have on a franchise.

Hiring Andy Reid was the single most important moment in franchise history since the team moved to KC.

I hope the Hunts realize how vitally important Coach & culture are for all future hires. I never wanna be back where we were during the Pioli era ever again.

  3. It helps when your leaders like Kelce are the ones putting in the most effort. If Travis Kelce has to x, y, and z, then there’s no way for anyone else on the team to justify doing less.

  4. “This is the way” is such a fire fucking line. Put it in granite in front of Arrowhead.

  5. They had Nagy on the pod this week, and he went to say that at Andy’s first meeting, all of the guys that Travis mentioned were sitting in the front row of the meeting room, hands in laps, and ready to learn from Andy. When the leaders of the team buy in to what the coach is bringing, it makes everything so much easier.

  6. At the NFL level, everyone is the best player from their town and guys don’t get jobs because of two-tenths of a second on a combine 40-time or a bad couple of days in training camp. Coach, culture, and quarterback are the obvious differentiators, and KC has the best at all three.

  7. That 2012 team had six Pro Bowlers: Jamaal Charles, Tamba Hali, Justin Houston, Derrick Johnson, Eric Berry, and Dustin Colquitt. Unbelievable that they only won 2 games. Additional fun facts, the OC was Brian Daboll and Nick Siriani was the WR coach.
