First thing he said was that the biggest thing that drove his decision was Reimer and Tokarski positive experience with Buffalo and the organization. Nice to hear more positivity coming out of player experiences.

Maybe our strategy is only keeping players who are good at press conferences
They get more positive feedback from players than you might expect. It’s not uniform, of course, but from what I understand, a lot of the guys who come here with reservations find it to be a generally good experience. Aside from the losing…which is problematic.
You know all those players that left and won a Stanley Cup recently?

Wings fan – Lyon had one really great hot run in 23-24, and wasn’t much after that. Bit of an oddball guy, but also a nice guy, easy to root for. I think you’re getting at best a mid range back up with him. There wasn’t a big market for him. We didn’t bid on him.
