The font looks a little wonky. They did wear those black jerseys but I can’t recall if they had practice jerseys as well. Are there any tags on the inside? If not, it’s probably a knock off.

Emil Brown wore number 8 in 2008. I am going to go out on a limb here and say no. I don’t think it’s real.

No such thing as a black alt practice jersey. This knockoff even forgot the extra tail on the “A” of Athletics. The”H” and “L” in Athletics both are supposed to have a loop (not a straight line) at the top, the font is too fat, the dot on the “I” isn’t isolated, etc. So many issues.
Authentic black alt game jerseys were not mesh and made by Rawlings in 2000 and Majestic in 2008-2009.
