Why Derrick Henry’s Regression Could Open The Door For The Steelers To Win The AFC North #shorts

Derrick Henry, I think, could be in line for some regression heading into this season. And if you guys know anything about running backs, once they get to 30, man, it is a steep decline, at least historically, in the National Football League. In fact, you know, you look at Henry’s going into his age 32 season. There has been a grand total of zero running backs in the history of this league that have rushed for over 1,400 yards in a season at the age of 32 or higher. All right. So, history is certainly not on the side of Derrick Henry here. Um, and you know, I think that he could be in line for some regression.

  1. lol I think being in your 30s and rushing for 1,000 yards is still elite man I'm a Steelers fan and let me tell u he is not declining yet dude is built different

  2. He will regress FOR SURE but not by a lot because he has a good OL. The question is how much of a decline: a little 100-200 yards, medium 200-300 yards, or a lot over 400 yards. I will say he will run around that 1400 yards which would mean a big decrease from the 1921 yards he produced in 2024. So yes he will decline a lot but I would take "a lot" decline if our measuring stick started from 1921 yards.

  3. Bro was barely used the first 4-5 games of the year last year they’ll do the same and when it matters he’ll truck every one again I hope this year is different because getting bullied last year in playoffs was hard to watch
