  1. Here’s hoping PCA brings today’s version to the Bronx. And absolute filth from Palencia there at the end.

  2. Just really good solid baseball, good pitching, good hitting, good long ball, good D.

Can’t grumble at that. Let’s go tomorrow.

  3. The Cubs are now 1-2 since the birth of my daughter!!!

I’d like to think PCA is a lurker and saw my earlier comment and said “My bad, lemme lock tf in!”

  4. And that’s how you avoid a sweep. Now off to New York against those bitch-ass Yankees.

  5. Good cap to a poor series. Go get two from the Jankees fellas. Go cubs.

  6. Nobody brings out the brooms on the 2025 Cubbies (Japan series doesn’t count)

  7. Every seasons gonna have rough patches, let’s start a mini streak off this win and cruise into the break!

  8. #WE HAVE THE POWER AND THE SPEED TO BE THE BEST IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE! GREAT REVENGE GAME, CUBS ARE THE ONLY TEAM NOT TO GET SWEPT IN A THREE GAME SERIES! GET FUCKED TWINS, YANKEES YOU ARE NEXT! LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  9. In the spirit of a broken clock is right twice a day, being too lazy to take down my W flag never takes too long to not matter

  10. Still haven’t been swept since the first series of the year in Japan

Things are going well on the North Side

PS FUCK MILWAUKEE AND ST LOUIS

  11. Still haven’t gotten swept in a series ✔️
Maintain a lead on Milwaukee ✔️

  12. Does this team have to win a postseason series before it’s considered a successful year to you? For me yes

  13. From /u/rehe13: PCA multi home run games (career): 6 PCA multi walk games (career): 2

  14. Shaw is 1 for his last 24…he needs to go back down to work on some things. Cubs making a move at the deadline for a 3B?

  15. Remember people at the beginning of the season saying that this team was basically just as good as last year‘s🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  16. That was pretty good, it’s just a shame that the Brewers were crowned the division winners last night.

  17. Still a disappointing series but a W is a W and they gain half a game. Let’s go! Off to NYC!

  18. Somebody called them this morning and reminded them that they are allowed to hit the ball

  19. Nice win. I get pissy about losses like a lot of folks but in baseball you can’t make much out of a short stretch of games. It’s a 162 game grind and teams are going to have losing streaks and stretches where they don’t score just like they’ll have hot streaks. Try not to get too high or low over either and just enjoy the game.

Overall this team is having a very good year. They certainly have a great shot at making the postseason and doing some damage.

  20. Much needed W for the soul. Let’s carry this momentum into Yankee Stadium and try to win our first road series in over a month.

  21. We STILL have not been swept. (Again, counting the first two game as a split 4-game series where we then won the other two at Wrigley in April).

  22. I totally forgot it was a noon game.

Could have listened at work but forgot, glad we won tho
