Yeah it’s a big pile of bullshit is what it is. I made sure my subscription is set to cancel once my subscription runs out.
And while I haven’t had any technical issues with it, the fragmentation of games across platforms makes it almost unwatchable.
Guess I’ll be sticking to free Saturday night games on CBC this year.

I was about to post the same thing. While I like a ‘reliable’ stream I can count on for watching out of market teams this is just way too much. As a subscriber since the NHL gamecenter days I’m super disappointed. They can get fucked.
I will always pay for a streaming service, when it is easier to use. The dollar value is worth it to me. But Sportsnet is constantly lagging, quality is horrible, and I live in BC and want to watch oilers games and can’t watch all of them. Fucking pisses me off.

Anyone subscribing to this app needs to flood with emails or at a minimum pause their subscription. Boycott this bullshit if we can. They lost WWE, haven’t added any content and they raise the price.

Subscribing to SN isn’t worth the cost now and it won’t be in the future. Best to explore other options that won’t hurt your wallet

I cancelled my subscription at $28 a month.
It’s funny to see fans excited for the cap to increase without understanding that we’re the ones paying for it. I’d much prefer a flat cap if the price to consumers would stabilize.
It is the worst streaming app I’ve ever used. I’ve had games paused and then hit play and it would just jump to live half of the time. And the quality ranged from everything from “ok” to “unwatchable”. (App was on GoogleTV)
Also, I live around Ottawa. That means we get blackouts for Maple Leafs, Senators and the Canadiens somehow.
I also remember some times going to watch a Panthers game, and it simply being not available as a watchable game, and noticing some random games aren’t even offered.
Unsubscribed last year, haven’t gone back, and have watched the same amount of hockey I did when I had the app.
What a joke. At least when it was through Roger’s you could watch multiple angles, and watch games weeks later over and over….you had access to literally every game of the season for the entire length of your subscription. Now games just flat out disappear after 3 or 4 days. Less for more money. Pathetic.
